280 tech jobs in Calgary (+1,200 remote) and their salaries

Last year I shared a project where I curated a list of tech companies in Calgary and links to their careers pages. It hit the front page but the main request was to scrape jobs from companies into one feed of jobs instead of just linking off to each careers page.

I’ve been working on the Jobfairr.com project pretty much daily in my free time and have now built a feed of ~300 active tech jobs in Calgary and their salaries across 56 companies (plus 1,200 remote jobs across Canada). The basic idea is that the best place to find jobs is a company's careers page (first place jobs go up, first place they come down) versus Linkedin or Indeed. Jobs aside, I also collect company descriptions and glassdoor ratings to help you find companies you’re interested in and see what people who work there say about them.

Everything is free and there are no ads. Just a personal project i've been working on since the start of 2025 to help other Canadians with their job search. Any feedback or suggestions?

840 tech jobs in Montreal at ~90 companies that are hiring

Update on a project I shared a year ago w/mod approval, where I curated a list of tech companies in Montreal that were hiring and links to their careers pages. People liked it, but the main suggestion was that it would be better to show all the jobs in one central feed.

I’ve been working on Jobfairr.com daily and have since built a feed of 840 tech jobs in Montreal (from 88 companies), as well as 1,000+ remote jobs across Canada, plus salary info, company descriptions, glassdoor ratings, etc. Canada-wide, the tool now has ~5K active jobs.

The basic idea is that the best place to find jobs is from a company's careers page (first place jobs get added and first place they get taken down) instead of job boards like Linkedin or Indeed. The main job filters are by location and by function, and each careers page is automatically checked twice every day for new jobs and to expire jobs that are no longer posted. You can also create an account to follow jobs from companies you're interested in working at.

Everything is free and there aren't any ads. This is just a personal project to help other Canadians with their job search. Things are still a little rough around the edges in places but would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions to make this even more useful.

2,000+ active tech jobs in Toronto and their salaries

A year ago I shared a project here (jobfairr.com) where I curated a list of tech companies in Toronto and direct links to their careers pages. I’ve since been building a system that scrapes jobs from 225 tech companies in Toronto into one feed of nearly 2,000+ active tech jobs. In total, the site now has ~5,000 jobs across Canada, including 1,000+ remote tech jobs.

The main idea is that the best place to find jobs is from a company's careers page, since that’s typically the first place jobs get added and the first place they get taken down, instead of job boards like Linkedin or Indeed that have an incomplete or stale list of postings. You can also create an account and follow the companies you're interested in to see just their jobs.

Everything is free and there are no ads. I hope it’s useful to folks here.

600+ active tech jobs in Vancouver and their salaries

A year ago I shared a project here (jobfairr.com) where I collected a bunch of tech companies in Vancouver and links to their careers pages. Since then, I have built a web app that scrapes jobs from ~100 tech companies in Vancouver into one feed of 600+ active tech jobs (as well as company specific job listings). If you’re looking for remote only work in Canada, you can also filter for that to get a list of 1,000+ remote tech jobs

The basic idea is that the best place to find jobs is from a company's careers page (first place jobs get added and first place they get taken down) instead of job boards like Linkedin or Indeed. The interface is pretty user friendly and the list of jobs gets updated each day and jobs that no longer exist are expired. You can also create an account and follow the companies you're interested in to see just their jobs if you want.

Everything is free and there are no ads (it's just a hobby project). Would love any feedback!

~1,500 active tech jobs in Waterloo Region + Remote and their salaries (x-post)

A year ago this was the first place I shared a project where I curated a list of tech companies across Waterloo Region that were hiring and direct links to their careers pages. People liked it, but since then, the main feedback I got was that it would be nice if I could scrape those jobs into one filterable feed, so that you don’t need to check each company’s careers page individually.

I’ve been working on the Jobfairr project pretty much daily and have since built a feed of ~250 active tech jobs in Waterloo Region and their salaries (from 65 companies), as well as ~1,200 remote jobs across Canada, plus descriptions, glassdoor ratings, and more. The basic idea is that the best place to find jobs is from a company's careers page (first place jobs get added and first place they get taken down) instead of job boards like Linkedin or Indeed. You can also create an account and follow the companies you're interested in to see just their jobs.

Everything is free and there are no ads. This is just a personal passion project from someone in the region to help other Canadians with their job search. Would love any feedback or suggestions!
