Paula is quirky but an all around good person. Thomas is just…the worst.

Paula is quirky. The little toys. Etc. everything she’s done though she is very sweet. The only thing I disagreed with was having all the family members in the small apartment. That was stupid. They should’ve gotten an Airbnb. But I understand why she wanted that.

Thomas is fucking annoying. The sensitivity to smells. The weird furniture. The leftover meat. The constant yelling. No idea how they lasted this long. Bro is fucking strange.

At first I thought Thomas just needed to mature. That he never dated a women and his arc would be him becoming more of a “man.” But it’s becoming more clear that he’s just stuck in his ways and super strange.

Why doesn’t Blizzard build a “Blizzard Forge” instead of another RTS?

Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like Blizzard is sitting on one of the biggest missed opportunities in gaming.

I am HUGE WC3 custom maps fan. I love LTA, Hero Wars, ETC ETC ETC. Imean,
Warcraft III custom games literally gave us DotA, tower defense, auto battlers, hero arenas, and a bunch of genres that exploded later.

StarCraft II has one of the most powerful editors ever made.

So why not stop treating them as separate games and instead build a single platform?

Basically a Roblox/Fortnite for thirty year olds lol

Heres the idea - Imagine Blizzard Forge:

  • Warcraft + StarCraft assets in one editor
  • Drag-and-drop tools for beginners, scripting for advanced creators
  • Battle.net matchmaking and discovery
  • Creator profiles, ratings, analytics, and leaderboards
  • A small engagement payout program like Fortnite’s Creator Economy so people are actually incentivized to build

The last part is critical. Creators like Marsh, who is a famous creator for Lord of the Aftermath. He lives in Ukraine, and he survives on Patreon donations, which you have to go to Discord and then another link to click, which is crazy. There should be some engagement model inside of the Blizzard platform, as well as the ability to host links inside the Blizzard platform, so I can open a link and go directly to his payment portal and donate in the game.

A lot of these people dedicate hours upon hours making games that get played for countless hours. I don't understand why Blizzard sits on this amazing content machine and does nothing with it, especially when it's been proven to already generate games like an amazing MOBA.

Meanwhile Blizzard arguably had one of the greatest modding communities ever… and never really evolved it into a true creator ecosystem.

Am I missing something? Is there a technical or business reason this couldn’t work?

The big twist

We all know Harry was going to kill himself after he walks in on Dexter.

This was coming.

A big twist would be Harry is ashamed of Dexter and tells him to stop. It was all a mistake. But Dexter refuses to hear it and the “ghost” of harry is actually Dexter’s subconscious preserving his version of Harry but not the real Harry

With double dailies and crystal reward. It’s much faster to just SRB at 12 each time then to max to 20+

I can do like 12 maybe 3-4 times a day.
Each time you SRB it resets the daily board.
I have double daily quest and each quest gives 3 shards.

So if if SRB 3x in a day that’s 84 shards earned. (6 shards each time + 22 for SRB)

Episode 5 was great. Episodes 1-4 could’ve been an email

There are some shows where I want more content. More episodes. You all know them. Some shows, I could watch them just live and have nothing happen - because I just love being around the characters and watching them interact.

But this show - bro. Episode 5 finally moved the story. I don’t care about Orla. Critical Supply storyline opens up more questions -(like why do light bulbs and not provide the silo with a way to make them if there is only a finite source??).

The whole memory storyline was fine but easily could’ve been lumped into two episodes.

Love the show but it drags

I am not renewing Max - Computer BURNED 15k credits and I got ZERO output from it - while ChatGPT and Claude performed easily.

I’m insanely frustrated with Perplexity Computer right now.

I’m building an AI agent for a relatively straightforward but complex outbound workflow:

  1. Use Apify to find relevant influencers for a target brand.
  2. Generate a personalized image of a gift we could send that influencer.
  3. Use Apollo to find the right brand contact and draft an email saying:

“Hey, I found this influencer you’re not currently working with. Here’s a gift concept we could send them. What do you think?”

The overall workflow is complex, but each individual step is pretty simple.

The problem was that ChatGPT doesn’t have a native Apify MCP connection, while Claude can work with Apify through MCP but couldn’t generate the images I needed.

That made Perplexity Computer seem like the perfect bridge. Honestly, this use case felt like an advertisement for the product: browser control, multiple tools, research, automation, and image generation all in one workflow.

I was wrong.

I started with roughly 15,000 credits. By the time I stopped it, I had 986 credits left and zero usable email drafts.

It repeatedly failed to use Apify correctly, misunderstood the workflow, and generated images that were either low quality or completely disconnected from the influencer and brand. I kept trying to correct it, but it just burned through more credits without producing anything useful.

I had also been particularly bullish on Perplexity after the announcement about its token costs dropping by roughly 80% compared with ChatGPT. But lower token costs do not mean much if the agent consumes thousands of credits while failing to complete the task.

What finally worked was downloading the ChatGPT image-generation skill from GitHub, creating an OpenAI developer account, adding $20 in API credits, and giving Claude access to the image API.

Now Claude can handle the Apify workflow, call the image-generation API, and run the full agent at scale.

The irony is that I had to manually connect Claude and OpenAI to create the product experience I thought Perplexity Computer was supposed to provide out of the box.

Has anyone successfully built a genuinely multi-step workflow with Perplexity Computer, or is everyone else seeing the same reliability and credit-burn issues?

I upgraded to Max....I regret it.

So I've been using Perplexity more and more, despite everyone in this thread hating it. I honestly love Comet. I think it's great. I know a lot of folks use Airside or something. That's a better browser, but I like how the browser connects to Perplexity so it knows what I'm searching for, and then I have Perplexity save all that in Notion.

Anyway, I digress. As I've been using Perplexity more, I wanted to use Computer because I wanted to use different models. I had a use case for my work where I wanted access to Grok because I thought, through Perplexity, Grok would have a better integration into Twitter.

So that wasn't the case, and I was unable to connect it through the MCP because it was too confusing. Anyway, my horror story is that I upgraded. I had 45,000 credits because they give you 35,000, and I had maybe 5k or whatever. I had it build out a website where it could track certain indicators for my job, and it burned maybe 15,000 credits.

So yeah....Basically, after that, I just told it to stop. I finished the build and tweaked everything in Claude code, and finally I got done, but holy shit, I don't understand how you're supposed to survive on only 10,000 credits, how people are using it, and what the use case is.

I can't imagine they're doing well because their social media has been dead, but I saw the post of Lewis Hamilton. He's doing that really cool question with a computer, but I don't even understand how he did that. I even asked my computer the same question. It didn't work, so

Anyways, at the end of the day, I really want to like it because I actually do like the user interface. I like the idea of using multiple different models, but man, you need at least $30,000 a month to justify $200. It needs to be better at saving credits.

I really want to upgrade but damn 200 is just too much.

I feel like I am maybe the 5% of users that actually really like computer. I like it for different use cases. For example, I like how it can actually send emails - not just creating drafts.

But damn - does computer burn credits fast.

I like Comet but hoping some people have great stories of Max and awesome use cases.

Otherwise I’ll just keep messing around with Codex and Claude Code.

Notes from Discord

Not sure how many of you are following along in Discord, but the developers had this event, possibly skill-based. At the eleventh hour, they realized the system was broken, so they opted for the randomness you see now because they were concerned that a delay would cause more frustration than simply releasing whatever half-baked idea they had here.

They claim to have worked tirelessly all night on this event, and some people in Discord are liking it. They also argue that the people on Reddit are an unreliable sample size because all we do on Reddit is complain. Additionally, they mentioned that on average, it takes about an hour of fishing to obtain the C3PO because there’s a pity system that kicks in.

I strongly encourage all of you to go over to Discord and express your complaints because they’re clearly taking it well. l

How many are you are using ai for interviews?

Curious. See a lot of folks with tons of experience unable to find jobs. Yet I have helped people with 2-3 years find interviews so wondering how everyone is applying today

edit: The point of this post is that there are almost an infinity of ways to answer this with AI. It's like, what are people doing so we can share the best knowledge?

I started this post because I want to know what people are doing today to stand out and find jobs. Some of you guys are using it for SEO purposes. Some of you guys are using a Claude code short command. The best way I found to learn how to get an edge or to learn how to use AI better is by just talking to other people, and that was the spirit of this post.

Three easy Ideas: New mission and overhaul of PVE with Boss. Expansion of base. All fix the core game.

First

To begin, the 10 billion mission makes zero sense that it’s 6 minutes.

It should be 12 hours with 100% gaurentee to get Beskar but it’s a 5% chance of epic and 5% chance of Legendary. This is the most expensive mission in the game. It should be the mission you do right before logging off. This way, every day, you are actually progressing forward.

Second:
4th Droid type. RESEARCH DROIDS. Unlocks at 18 and finishes the base at 24. There is zero progression last 18 and all the bases look the same. HOWEVER these droids do not mine Gold. They mine Upgrade Credits. Max is 3. From 100 billion. 500 billion and then 1 trillion. Research Droids can only be found in the wild.

RESEARCH DROIDS: are permanently unlocked. Like iconic. So you don’t need to refarme them after a SRB. However, you need to farm all three unique ones. You cannot farm the same one to fill out the slot.

FUN TWIST: research droids - When sold, give 10 shards. If you're a player in a lobby and you have the research droids, you're still going to want to farm them and prevent another player from taking them.

Third: PVE events.
Credit world pick ups should have an upgrade. They are
1/2/4 and unlocked at 5/10/15 base levels. Cost can be 50 million/100 million/ 100 billion
Credit world pick ups can be upgraded to 10 for a shard upgrade of 25 shards.

Every 1 hour in game a boss spawns. He is difficult but manageable for a single player to kill. If the player has spent shards on Damage - it is MUCH easier. The boss always drops an epic or legendary Beskar blueprint with a 10% CHANCE of dropping a Research Droid Blueprint. Players have to fight over the blueprint. This encourages leaving the base, actually fighting. A use for Combat Droids and a use for spending shards on damage buffs

What this solves:
There are other creative games that utilize world bosses that drop certain loot. This game should be no different. It also encourages players to stay in the lobby for the full hour. It also encourages a PvP element so they can use shards for upgrading themselves, and it gives a reason to actually use the weapons and upgrade them. Finally, this also solves for upgrade credits being scarce unless it's an event, and it allows players to easily farm upgrade credits through various upgrades and the research droids so they can upgrade their base

This also opens up new weapons, vehicles uses and lightsabers as now with Bosses their is a reason to engage other players

More upgrades to base?

Would like if there were additional stuff the base can get after level 20.

Lightsaber forge.
Vehicle garage
Etc

Don’t need slots for more droids or a new droid type. But sure the developers might add that because Grind.

Please make events last the full weekend

Insanity that it’s only 6 hours. It’s the summer. It’s a weekend. Shouldn’t punish people who have lives. Would love to come home at like 11 pm or midnight, load up the game and do the event. Absolutely mind boggling that it’s so short and limited.
