LOVED them, loved this storyline especially with how long george and brenda were sneaking around. i wanted more of them together! their chemistry was amazing and i loved watching mary unknowingly getting her lick back.

it took george a long time to confront mary about seeing her and pastor rob smoking together. he was mad that she was able to “have fun” and not always live life by the bible. but he technically didn’t have a leg to stand on to say something when it came to that. he left that bar to see his wife bc brenda was having a good time with tom not bc he regretted what he was doing.

i wish it was written that pastor rob reached out to mary after george passed to rekindle their friendship. long after george passed ofc and when missy moved out the house

a lot of the storylines have already been spoiled for me and i don't mind it at all. s15 was very cute with jo and karev getting married but then i saw some bs that karev was gonna do some dumbass sht again. i gotta see what shonda and the writers thought up to ruin that storyline.

that man is never seeing a true redemption. no development with that character, stayed true to his unpredictable, reckless, inconsistent, unreliable, impulsive, erratic etc season 1 behavior.

why does he still make these statements when in s8 alex gets competing offers from johns hopkins and seattle grace. richard teaches him how to negotiate and hopkins agrees giving him salary, loan repayment, relocation assistance, and other benefits. then alex brings that same offer to owen in which owen agrees to match causing april her job.

then in s10 he’s still worried about his medical school debt? but within that same season he takes a job with the private pediatric practice. he buys himself a fancy car and talks about buying a boat next. by the end of the season, he ultimately got fired bc he was trying to leave for SG again since he thought he would get cristinas board seat.

now in s14 he still talking like makes intern wage. im just gonna chalk this down to the writers forgetting what they wrote or that the ones that wrote that specific storyline for season 8 or 10 are no longer writers for the show

watching this episode, the only people getting blamed for the incident are the parents and not the child that was never supposed to be behind a trigger. majority will defend the child’s actions by saying hes too young to understand what he was doing but at what point will the children learn about accountability if when they do something wrong it gets dismissed and the parents or adults aren’t explaining to them what they did wrong in the situation.

the neurotic mom blaming the injured child for her son tampering with a gun was flat out ridiculous. it took a doctor to actually “parent”/teach the child that he caused harm to his friend, told him what he did was was an accident and if it had happened to him he would be mad at his friend but even in the middle of that scene the mom asks if they’re free to go just to pull him away

then they have ppl judging jo for her reasons on having a gun, the same women that was beat up constantly as a child, alone and homeless fending for herself, beat up by her ex and left alone at home (in a bad neighborhood) when karev constantly is leaving for work or meredith are surprised she has a gun to feel safe. they end that storyline by saying the reason jo had a gun was because she didn’t value her life???? HUH?

desperate housewives did an amazing job with bri and how they handled the topic of guns. bri was educated and knew how to handle a weapon and had her reasons, her friends disagreed, they talked about it and reached a middle ground. that storyline even had her friends shaming her for it and shared stories of themselves being a victim of gun violence/shooting,having witnessed death or loved ones in the vicinity of a shooting but bri stood her ground and they reached an understanding. the debate was framed without having one side being objectively correct. and imo that’s how it should be. we are not sheep and having our own opinions makes us human

callie just walked in after the table heard the story of who perfect penny is LMAOOOOO

you cant say anything critical about that man or any post about him will have the same stalker defending his honor. imo bc derek is written as a fantasy partner thus his actions get excused bc hes charismatic paired with dreamy eyes and a nice smile.

i’m on season 11 now, and imo derek carries the same patterns from his marriage with addison into his marriage with meredith. whenever his partner’s career starts demanding that he step back, he seems to struggle with it. that’s what makes him an interesting character to critique and discuss instead of the untouchable one his fans or admirers make him out to be.

it’s interesting that in both of derek’s long-term relationships, he’s paired with women who become leaders in their fields. in both cases, we’re told or shown that he becomes emotionally distant when the relationship is under pressure (his marriage was already falling apart before addison cheated, so let’s not use that as a cop-out). whether that’s coincidence, poor communication, or insecurity is something worth discussing without acting like it’s a personal attack on the character.

the show never tells us exactly when addison became one of the country’s most renowned neonatal surgeons and OB/GYNs, so we can’t say her success caused the distance in their marriage but it’s an interesting parallel that, by the time she’s established as one of the best in her field, their relationship has already deteriorated. then we see derek and meredith run into similar tensions as meredith’s career reaches another level.

idk if its intentional or accidental writing but its what could make for an interesting discussion if posts about him didn’t result in changing the subject to everything and everyone but him, insulting the op’s or downvoting simply for having a different opinion of Derek

i was hoping she was going to be a one season character but she’s gonna be on the show for NINE SEASONS. does she get better and have some growth or will she be anxious and agitated for the rest of the seasons to come. im constantly fast fwding her scenes bc she’s annoying and is always upset or passive aggressive. the people who like her (from past posts) just seem to like anybody who challenges meredith.

and what’s up with her not wanting to learn jo’s name? the youngest to do it in her position, the one to crack the mystery christina couldn’t but couldn’t remember a simple last name, girl who tf is milton???

and she will never be christina, lexi, nor a grey (she’s a webber at best since Thatcher GREY is not her father) idk wtf shonda and the writers were smoking to think that

so many people have gone through traumatic experiences and lost loved ones in that hospital.. mothers, fathers, siblings, friends, CHILDREN and this demon thinks he's special just because he's lost his fkn wife.

in the real world we lose so many people because of
POS like him, because they're too emotional, because they're selfish, because they think the world revolves around them, because they don't get what they think they deserve, because they can't go out and seek help for their bottled up emotions.

so many mass shootings in the US continue to happen and i couldn't for one fucking second feel any sympathy or empathy for this selfish idiotic character.
it boggles my mind for some viewers to actually sympathize with this devil but tbh it’s not surprising given it happens in the real world. white mass shooters/serial killers always end up being mourned and never taking accountability only talking about "mental illness".

i hate when TV shows do mass shooting episodes, we don’t need to see “their side“ or why the do this, they don’t deserve that. so many people’s lives change because of ONE person. majority of the time the victim never get the attention these trigger happy demons do
