A recent experience I had has got me thinking about this. He at one point said I was being intense and asking for too much. The too much is consistent calls and interaction. Mind you, it was long distance so it wasn't like we could meet in 5 minutes if we wanted.

I know I can be anxious and fearful but once I decide I want this with a man, I try so hard to not run away.

It felt like I had to chase for communication and I could actually feel there was no affection. The supply of reassurances was also very low... I don't expect someone else to have to carry my anxiety but I knew with time and consistent communication, I'd had felt safe enough to relax and trust.

Anyways, we stopped talking.

I just want to know, how can you tell you're being too much or you're shrinking yourself to keep a connection that's not fulfilling.

Hi, I've been putting this off for a while now. Last time I thought I made friends on here they just disappeared.

I'm trying again and hopefully we become we become long time friends.

Like I posted in the title, I'm 34 and reside in Ghana. I'd love to make a girlfriend who loves movies and TV shows. If you have an interesting hobby you'd like to introduce me to, I don't mind that too.

I'm not religious and have no interest in it so it'll be nice if you aren't too. I've found that it's easier if we're both on the same page with religion. If you're direct and know how to communicate, that'll be good. I don't expect you to be perfect, trust me I got my own issues too. We could just support each other to grow and be better people for ourselves. I have no children at the moment (I've always wanted them but I'm still deciding on that).
