Give us the Trash Panda event, Niantic!
Had an idea for an accessorized Zigzagoon at work after seeing a video of a raccoon being helped out of a trash can. Just finished inking it, pretty happy with how it's turning out lmao
I'm really bad, but sometimes I get lucky.
Imagine getting a knee to the chin, and the back of your head bounces off the CV axle of a 2210 Honda Civic.
Being stuck on light duty has benefits
I'm bored and got some practice sketching/inking, thought y'all might appreciate a sketch of my usual EDV. Sitting for five hours kinda sucks but at least I'm getting paid.
(Bonus points if ya find the cat I hid)
Considering Flex
Hello! I'm a driver with a DSP, and I need extra income. Hated trying out meal delivery services, and was considering doing Flex as I'm already familiar with how it works. I'm driving a first gen Honda Fit. it feels like an excellent vehicle for it.
I'm wondering if y'all think it's worth it to do this 1-2 times a week, and if so, any advice is welcome.
My apologies if this is the kind of post better answered in the FAQ, the link doesn't work for me. Have a great day, y'all.
Fallout New Vegas Graffiti
Does anyone have a screenshot of the graffiti from Lonesome Road, where it's like a circle around the number 6? I have such strong memories of seeing it, but googling it, I'm finding nothing. I know it's simple to recreate, I just need to know it's real to prove I'm not losing my mind. 🥲
Do y'all move a little before turning the steering wheel, or just crank it?
I developed the muscle memory of getting the vehicle moving a bit before steering, because most of my personal driving experience is without power steering. It definitely helps with maintaining gravel roads. I'm curious if the lot of y'all do the same thing?
I redesigned a ship!
I think I've improved quite a bit with my merging and building techniques. Still need to do the interior tho. First pic is the old design, it was blue/orange all over.
What's wrong with these poor crickets?
Hiya! I just got cricket feeders for my leapord gecko (an unfortunate sacrifice, I love these funky lil guys) and a couple of them have this strange, translucent mass on their backs. It looks like there's also a collection of tiny black balls on their butts. They all have at least one immobile rear leg, and one shown is missing it's cerci. The gals in the bunch all have damaged ovipositors.
I'm wondering if this is some kind of parasite? Should I not feed any of this batch to my gecko?
Currently they're all in a dark place, munching on apples. I hope they're healthy. Some of them certainly don't seem to be doing well.
EDIT: The supply store was low on crickets, but they're always kept in a dark place, well fed, and live in/on a bed of substrate. They're much better kept than Petco crickets. I have never gotten crickets here that have gone cannibal or died of stress, so I'm very confused.
Engine go bye-bye
Purchased a 2008 Sport a few months ago, while adjusting the valves I found that the recently changed oil was saturated with fuel. Did an oil change, drove it to a trusted mechanic who said the cylinders and piston rings are worn and I'd need an engine rebuild, or a new engine. A new engine, according to him, would be cheaper. I guess I'm not driving for a while.
Pretty upset, as I was so sure this was a good purchase - sure it's 108k miles, but it's had regular oil changes and dealership maintenance it's entire life. I'm not getting a different car, and a new engine will last a long time, but I have to say I'm awfully disappointed to lose my chance at joining the million mile club.
Anyway, just posting for sympathy and advice. Thanks y'all.
