Friday Night Lights resurgence

I watch Lanterns and have been keeping up with the talk of it online and everyone is really impressed with Kyle Chandler's performance of Hal Jordan – to the point that people are looking up his other work and a lot of people are discovering Friday Night Lights. It makes me so happy that people are starting to watch now

Lori x Rick's relationship

I've been re-watching The Walking Dead lately and I firmly believe that Lori wouldn't have been able to handle the leader that Rick had become. I think that she would've took Carl and Judith in the middle of the night lol.

In a way I feel that Lori wanted to keep Carl as a kid, but in the kind of world that they were in, he had to grow up kind of fast and I do think that her death did strengthen Carl and toughen him up a bit. What do you guys think?

My message for the week

So every week, I asked myself three questions when I pull my cards: what should I prepare for this week, what should I avoid this week, and where should I direct my energy at this time?

(I pull two cards for each question for clarification)

I pulled these cards in order of my questions and I have to say this is a pretty interesting message lol. I feel like my cards tell the same things a lot (in various different cards) and not that I wasn't herding what it was saying before but it's definitely a recurring theme lol. How would you all interpret this?

If the show ended at the end of season 4 or 6, I would be satisfied

I finished rewatching One Tree Hill about a month ago and I also watched an interview Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty did about a year ago. I agree with both of them that if the show ended on either of those seasons I would have been satisfied.

Season 7-9 felt like a different show to me and not that I didn't like the new characters, but the essence of the show changed. What does everyone think?

FNL is top 5 one of my favorite shows

I kid you not I watch it at least once a year. It's something about living in a small town and having big dreams that gets me every time I watch. Mostly everyone feels like family and I get sad when I finish the show 😭

All in all this is one of my favorite comfort shows and I wish it went on forever

I DNF'd a hockey romance because the FMC was a minor

So I started reading Love and Hockey and I didn't mind the 8 year age gap and the duration of events UNTIL she had her first sexual experience with the MMC as a 17 yr old.

It was very explicit and graphic, and I didn't know this ahead of a time so once I realize that it was going into detail, I stopped reading the book because I felt like it was going into a grooming situation.

Are the other books in the series similar in this way? I was going to skip to the next book but idk now 😭

Suggest Me a Book similar to some my favorite kdramas

I am looking for a book that has vibes of these kdramas called the worst of evil, little women, and the devil judge.

It doesn't have to have all three show elements combined. It could be one show or the other, but I would love to read books that were similar.

Bonnie would have thrived in New Orleans

I know Mystic Falls is Bonnie's ancestral home and it makes sense why her roots are there but I just can't help but think if Bonnie would've went to New Orleans how much stronger she would've gotten being with other witches, especially old school ones

Sheila/Grams failed Bonnie in a way

I truly think that Grams should've been teaching Bonnie magic since she was young. I know that her father didn't want her learning about it and I believe they moved around a lot when she was younger (its been awhile aince I've watched the show), but when I look at how many other witches have come into the show and knew the basic things (especially the Gemini coven) and Bonnie barely knew anything and couldn't defend herself or her friends when it came down to it, it just makes me wish that she had that structural training from when she was younger because it would've really helped her long run.

I know the warlocks that came into season two that was helping. Klaus weren't exactly good witches, but I do think that she learned a lot from them and if that Love interest would've stuck around, she would've gotten so much stronger.

Me personally, if I were Grams, I would've been sneaking lessons to Bonnie anyway because the supernatural world is a scary place lol

I just completed my first money spell jar

I am a baby witch and due to finances, I am not able to get the traditional things needed for a money spell jar. However, I did do some research online and I added my spell jar with this:

Rice (i read it could be used for a solid foundation for
financial growth, steady income, and lasting abundance)
I put my intentions on a green sticky note and folded it towards me.
Coins (fortunately I keep a jar around for quarters dimes, etc.)
For my herbs, I used ground cinnamon, crushed basil, crushed rosemary (I didn't have any bay leaves) and ground coffee
I sealed my jar it with a white scented candle I had because I couldn't get in green candles and from my research I saw that it was fine.

Before I pour the candle wax over, I made sure to speak life into what I was wanting for what I wrote down with my intentions and then I sealed it, and I have it sitting on top of my bookshelf right now. I am so happy that I did this and now I am going to wait for everything that I put in my intentions to unfold 💙
