Robot that can handle sand

I need a vacuum/mopping unit that can handle some dirt and sand without making the floors a muddy mess. Also can pick up dog hair- more floating fluffs of hair that don’t tangle. Not concerned about price. Hardwood with some tile. One washable rug.

Question re lower back pain and hip pain

About 2008 I started having lower back pain. At the time I was lifting heavy and running. I did see a few drs about it but it never really went anywhere. I chalked it up to my activity and what I felt were weak core muscles. It was noted that I had a curvature to my spine but I don’t think major. My file says scoliosis and kyphoscoliosis. Fast forward to 2020 when I started having hip pain felt in my left groin. I had left arthroscopic hip surgery for a labral tear, impingement and core decompression for avascular necrosis. In 2022 I had a CT of my hip which noted these findings about my back “Bilateral SI joint sclerosis with osteophytes and vacuum phenomena more so on the left than the right. Degenerative change at L4-5 and L5-S1 with small endplate osteophytes and broad base posterior Central herniation at L4-5, abutting the thecal sac.” My back was not an issue at the time so nothing came of those findings. Nov 2025 my hip pain started up again but along with it I had episodes of my back basically feeling like it was giving out. I could pinpoint the pain on the left side. When this happens I can’t sit- I have to stand with no weight on the left leg. I can’t turn in bed- I have to ask my spouse to turn me over. The most it has lasted was 2 days which was in the winter when I was probably pushing things by shoveling, wearing heavy boots, lifting higher etc. with regard to the hip, I do not have enough arthritis for a THR and I have too much for another arthroscopic surgery. I am getting an injection in my hip but with my recent back troubles, I thought it might be a good idea to have an injection in my back as well. At this point I can’t do physio because one aggravates the other. My hope is that the relief I would get from the injections would help this. On a day to day basis, I have pretty constant lower back ache. When standing in one spot I will lean on something or will have to sit down. Walking isn’t a problem if things are relatively settled. I had a recent xray of my back, including SI joint views. The doctor said things look ok and did mention the curve to the left. Told me he thought it was soft tissue and gave me an injection in a spot that I was able to pinpoint (lower back above butt crack to the left side). He asked as soon as I got up if it felt better and I thought I felt freezing as it went in. He didn’t use an X-ray or ultrasound. I asked how often I would get these and he said most people come back every week or two weeks. I didn’t think to ask him what it was but I will next time. I think because the left side was numbed, I can now feel it on my right, adjacent to the spot on the left. I was sure it was coming from my SI joints but as mentioned he said he thinks it’s soft tissue. I’m asking myself today if it’s still helping as things feel tighter than yesterday. I had a massage not that long ago and it triggered an episode where I couldn’t turn in bed the pain was so jarring on the left side. I have yet to receive the cortisone hip injection. If he has injected lidocaine into the soft tissue, how long should this last? Could this all still be related to my SI joints but not the joint itself?

Am I worse off post surgery?

I had arthroscopic surgery for impingement, labral tear and core decompression for avascular necrosis. First X-ray is pre-surgery, second is relatively soon after and third is most recent. Hip pain was pretty much non existent for 4 years post surgery but has started back up again. Original surgeon said I need to see arthroplasty I guess because there is now mild arthritic changes but the arthroplasty surgeon said it’s not arthritic enough for a THR. I haven’t had an MRI but suspect the labrum might be part of the problem again. Am I right in thinking that my hip looks worse now than it did pre-surgery? Pincer and cam? Or is it misleading as the views might be slightly different due to positioning?

Avascular Necrosis and Cortisone Injections

Are a cortisone injections safe for someone with avascular necrosis of the hip that hasn’t collapsed but whose pain has returned, not necessarily due to the AVN? Wondering because of the relationship between steroid use and potential cause/progression of AVN. Have had arthroscopic hip surgery for a labral tear, hip impingement and core decompression for AVN.

Pain returned after arthroscopic surgery.

In 2021 I had interval arthroscopic left hip surgery for labral repair, femoral and acetabular osteoplasty for femoral
acetabular impingement as well as core decompression due to early stage AVN.

Pain has returned (sharp groin pain, aching when sitting, certain twisting/pivoting movements cause the pain etc). I have not had an updated MRI or CT scan, only the most recent xray (Dec 2025). Anyone familiar with reading X-rays- is there any real difference between post surgery xray and the most recent? Previous surgeon suggested I see an arthroplasty surgeon.

Climara 50 patch cramping and bleeding

I started on birth control (Aleese) at the beginning of this year along with Vagifem and Estragyn. I didn’t take a break from the pills, continued through in hopes that I would no longer have a period (heavy bleeding and cramping). This caused continued light bleeding after the first month. I stopped taking the pills for a week to bleed and continued again. I had about 2 weeks of no bleeding and it started up again. The decision was made to stop the birth control and start on HRT. I am now using the Climara 50 patch and 100mg of oral progesterone at night. I am cramping and bleeding. Should this eventually tapper off? I was hoping it would resolve after coming off of the birth control but so far, no such luck.

Is this a dermatofibroma or could it be something else?

It has been on my forearm for quite some time (at least a year). It has scabbed a bit once or twice. It is not painful and grown very slowly. It doesn’t seem to pucker in when pinched (dermatofibroma test). It’s lighter in the center. Dermatofibroma or should I have it checked?
