Had this pretty bad nightmare about a huge pig

The dream had me and my dad wrestling and trying to catch this six legged, 7-8 foot beast of a pig. After trying to grab it for a while dad revealed that one of its legs were taped/somehow attached to its ear, when we removed it a bunch of these kinda newborn coloured worm/spider things started spewing out of its ear. Woke up and immediately drew it.

i'm working on this 3D short film that takes place in the backrooms and i made a design for the main monster or antagonist for the story.

inspiration: the inspiration for the monster was first based of an chameleon skull, specifically where the way it looks mangled and like it was in the middle of exploding than fused together. with that idea i also wanted to add a little bit of that extra extra for meaning, basically of two skeletons were fused together and then exploded and fused again, and add muscle and tendons you have my creature here.

personality: i liked the idea of it being jealous of the main character for being a normal human being, and being able to live a normal human life, while its stuck in some crappy office forever and ever in pain. its motive is to cause the main character as much or more pain that it is constantly in so he can feel just a little but better about himself

mostly i wanna hear your ideas and pointers and possibly enhanced design ideas and powers, whatever comes to mind

My fist short film is now in production: EXTERNUS

I’m finally ready to announce my first short film, EXTERNUS.

This project actually started as a completely different film idea, but over time i changed into something much stranger and more personal.

I’m currently working on the story, designing and rendering the different locations, testing the VHS-inspired visual style, and preparing everything for filming.

It’s still early in production, but I’ve made enough progress that I finally feel comfortable sharing it.

I’ll be posting more concept art, renders, behind-the-scenes material, and updates as production continues.

A Compto Films Production

Edit: if anyone seeing this is willing to share this post to other communities would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

What’s the cleanest workflow for green screen + SwitchLight + Blender + Resolve?

I’ve recently put together a setup that includes:

  • A full-body green screen
  • Corridor Key for DaVinci Resolve
  • SwitchLight 3.0
  • A Beeble account
  • Blender
  • DaVinci Resolve for editing and compositing

My goal is to film myself on the green screen and convincingly place myself inside environments made in Blender, and basically whatever comes to mind.

I’m trying to figure out the cleanest and most efficient workflow for using all of these tools together.

I’m mainly interested in making short films and very short comedy skits, so I want a workflow that gives convincing results without making every ten-second video unnecessarily complicated.

I’m fairly comfortable with Blender and DaVinci editing, but I’m still learning more advanced compositing and green-screen work. Any advice, example node trees, tutorials or recommended workflows would be really appreciated.

Could someone draw me? Would be better if it didn’t look like any of the pictures, if you could

A metallic skull-shaped helmet imagined for a dystopian setting. It locks onto the head, with a built-in mouthpiece that sits against the roof of the mouth. Along the sides, six small canisters connect into the system full of liquid nitrogen, suggesting some kind of controlled internal mechanism.

The idea is that it uses sudden temperature shifts to create an intense sensory shock before returning to normal, like a brain freeze. Something that can be triggered and reset. It’s meant to explore control, discomfort, and psychological tension.
