Casted my first spell

I'm really trying to get into witchcraft and the art of spellcasting so I decided to cast my first spell. I didn't have any of the fancy stuff available to me so I just got out things I think correlated to my intention. I got out of a certificate for a poetry contest to manifest/represent success and a green little charm thing for the color green (represents luck) and I recited my words in Latin (just wanted to feel more immersive) 😭 "I will be guided tomorrow by luck and fortune" which should translate to "Cras ducar Fortuna atque sorte" (which is what I recited verbally) hopefully it works! But I know spellcasting can be difficult so even if this doesn't work I'll continue trying ans hopefully get more materials!

I don't know if this belongs here but I keep seeing visions of the future

I'm not really sure if this belongs in this subreddit but I've figured that since this is occultism then it kinda relates to the supernatural or magic. I was dreaming and I saw a classmate of mine looking at me in my English teacher's classroom. She wore the exact same outfit she did in my dream, she was sitting exactly where she was in my dream and she looked at me the same way. Idk if this means anything and I've never delved into occultism or witchcraft and never casted a spell before

How does magic disappear or get weakened in your universe?

In my world, magic disappears and evaporates after "the battle of the crown" which was the final culminating battle of "the deific civil war" which was a war between the Ēlýsionian gods and the gods of Musiyle to see which king, Necios or Seeynoi would rule over the gods and goddesses. After the battle most of the gods die and the original trinity Galgona, Willow, and Anetha depart from the heavenly realm of Musiyle and leave the world. This catalyzes the end of all magic inside nature and inside mortals. This forces the mortal consciousness to create "manifestations" which are physical embodiments of manmade concepts or nature. These *manifestations" usher in a new era of magic but it's heavily weakened because they are tied to the mortal-lands (earth) and mankind's consciousness. If you'd like to know more about my magic system lmk!

Update/mod suggestion divine family tree

Alright so my idea is that we could have our own divine family tree

We can create gods and goddesses that have the same powers as us to influence the world from the void

They can bestow blesses upon kingdoms and people. They can grant resources and sustenance to kingdoms. They can even create their own people and devotees.

They are also able to bestow curses and maledictions upon kingdoms. Remove magic or blessed upon a kingdom.

You will be notified if any of the deities do this and as the supreme deity you can strip them of their godhood or reverse their decisions

If a certain god or goddess blesses a kingdom a lot, the people will either form or convert their religion to that god and an icon will appear that says (insert deities name worshippers)

Religions who are worshippers can be bestowed the favor of that god which will grant such magical properties and spells

We can populate the divine family by 3 ways

Spontaneously creating gods and goddesses

Magically reproducing with a human or any other race

Reproducing with another god (although that's a little iffy cause it could get incesty but it would mirror how most IRL polytheistic pantheons are)

Polytheistic religion can also appear who worship multiple deities and you could even potentially be worshipped as the supreme god

House velarylons were the true victims of the dance

Imagine going from having 3 dragons under your command (meleys, seasmsoke, vhagar) being the most wealthy house in the entire kingdom even overshadowing the royal family. Having royal marriage pacts and basically being a demi-royal family within the kingdom because of the close genetic connection you share to the targaryens.

And then you lose control of all your dragons. After the civil war you lose all wealth and prominence. And Cease to become relevant.

House velarylon's downfall truly needs to be studied bro

My main compliant comes from the battle of Rooks rest. They completely remove Rhaenys's one accomplishment at the battle which is burning aegon and sunfyre to a crisp and instead give it to Aemond??? I guess it's to demonstrate how ambitious and crazy aemond is but we've already his ambitiousness in the small council meetings and him scorching the riverlands could showcase his craziness. So to me there was no reason for that and it made rhaenys's death so mundane cause she practically died for nothing while in the books she makes a serious contribution to the war effort
