Not really excited for the live action adaptation since we all know how they usually end up but I am cautiously optimistic considering the budget they’ve put into it. I also wonder if they’ll get the costumes and weapons right.

Not that I’m complaining

I hate it when people think it’s okay to sexualize a woman when they’re drawn muscular or plus sized. Same people will bang on others for liking slim or curvy women but will say stuff like “Mommy” or “step on me” when they see a buff woman and it honestly just sounds performative. I see this a lot when it comes to anime, comics or even in real life. The people doing this don’t realize they’re still objectifying the woman they’re praising.
