I quit smoking 6 days ago and so far everything is okay. I don’t have an increased appetite, and I don’t seem to have acne or anything like that. I already had depressive moments before quitting. It’s not a great period in my life, but I stopped smoking because I felt like my lungs couldn’t take it anymore, and smoking was making me feel ugly too.
I started when I was 17, and now I’m 27, almost 28 (I’m a woman). I’ve heard horrible stories about women who quit smoking and then gained weight, got acne, lost their menstrual cycle, and now I’m really scared that I might end up like that too. I don’t know what to expect, but I know that if any of these things happened, I would start smoking again immediately.
Are these just myths, or do they actually happen? I’m really scared.

Could you tell me the personality and physical appearance differences between a Pisces Rising and a Libra Rising?
I know they’re not both technically Venusian, but Pisces is exalted in Venus, and I’ve noticed these two ascendants often seem strangely similar somehow.

I’m almost 28 years old and I hate what my face has become. I’m not talking about wrinkles or anything like that. I have slight smile lines, very few around my eyes when I smile, but they don’t bother me. They’re not very noticeable, and I’ve kind of always had them, even if only slightly. I don’t have forehead wrinkles either. What I hate is the shape of my face over the last few months: it’s become thinner, my cheekbones, which have always been high, are more visible, and my cheeks are slightly hollow, and that’s what I hate the most.
Until I was 22, I had a round face, maybe even a bit too round, and I weighed slightly more. By 24 I had already started to look more adult, but what has happened in the last few months I can’t explain. I don’t recognize myself anymore. I can’t look at myself in the mirror, I’m embarrassed to talk because the hollow cheeks show more, and I don’t leave the house because I’m ashamed of how I look.
I know losing facial fat is normal with aging, but I expected it to happen much later. Maybe smoking made it happen earlier, but I don’t know what to do. My face is completely different from how it used to be, I’ve changed so much. I’ve had some hard years. I wouldn’t say I look older than my age; it’s not about looking young or old, it’s that I don’t recognize myself anymore.
