Just thought about how it’s pretty cool that T1 has a chance to win in each region consecutively.
In 2023 T1 won in Korea. 2024 in Europe, and 2025 in China. NA is their last obstacle on their quest to a 4-peat before Worlds return to Korea again. The one that escaped them in their legendary duel against DRX. Kind of crazy!
Hi all, my sister lives in a HCOL with her husband, and claims 180k (150k from full-time job, 30k from their part-time job) isn't enough for a family of four.
I find this hard to believe and think it's a spending issue because I literally live in the same area as her and she says they've ran out of money.
For context, their mortgage is $3,300 including property tax and insurance. Sister stays at home so they don't pay for childcare. This means they have about $6,500 remaining each month that goes to god knows where.
I'm just wondering where the money is going because my partner and I make about 190k combined and we are able to save over $5,500 each month when our rent is $3,500.
Is this just me that finds this a bit ridiculous?
Wanting to book a spot at Partage in LV, but my friends and I have hit a menu dilemma. Only the 9-course option features their famous signature dish, but there’s zero chance that we can all finish 9 courses (one of us literally weighs less than 100lbs).
I’ve heard mixing tastings and sharing is generally frowned upon. Would it be wrong to have someone order the 5 or 7 course option and try the signature dish? Or ask if they can substitute a course with the signature course?
Otherwise, it would mean that at least one of us would have to choose a tasting menu we know we can't finish, just to avoid FOMO.

Once upon a time, the KOO Tigers became the Rox Tigers when their organization went bankrupt right around the time of the 2015 Worlds Championship.
The players (except Peanut, at this time Hojin was their JG) even made a cinderella run all the way to the Grand Finals before losing to SKT T1.
With no financial support, they practiced in a tiny apartment with no AC or insulation as Peanut joined for the 2016 season. Sometimes their internet connection wasn’t stable enough, so they would go to internet cafes to practice for matches including Worlds. They also famously wore makeshift uniforms.
They then persisted through the power of friendship, won 2016 LCK Summer, and then played the legendary semifinals game where Bengi came in and played Nidalee.
Keep in mind that these players were literally considered S tier, and there were many teams that would have jumped to sign one of them.
Who is the team that replaced their spot and carrying their legacy? It’s HLE. I really wish they won Worlds together once back then.
