Scored on a Xbox 360 S for $10 CAD

Found this at a garage sale, seller brought the price down because the console visibly looked really rough, had stickers all over it which I ended up removing, had no power cable and no guarantee it even worked as well as being paired with the wrong kind of controller. (Paired with PS3 controller lmao) It’s an August 8th 2011 model, I’ll use it alongside my main October 2011 model. It turned on and ended up working fine, and to be even more lucky a disc was in the Disc-tray which was Red Faction : Armageddon and a working 250GB OEM hard drive! After wiping what was on it I now have two of these Xbox 360 S.

The initial build everyone currently knows about that I visited had only No mercy and its chapters, However I was able to find this build through YouTube comments, I believe its the second build out of potential numerous others, (hopefully earlier 2007 builds) however this seems to be the same time frame of the previous build. I'm still seeing what campaigns work and what maps dont work, most crash immediately or upon loading. This seems to be an early build of the Town combined with church portion of Death toll "l4d_vs_smalltown"

Someone picked me up this copy of Platinum hits assassins creed and I noticed the barcode has been very purposefully cut out.

Anybody have any reasonings?

Xbox 360 S and some games I picked up!

I finally got an Xbox 360 S (manufactured 2011) with 2 controllers, kinect and 10 games (mostly Kinect games) last week. And today I picked up an official 320gb hard drive for $25 CAD alongside my favorite games that I used to play when I was young like BO2, MW2, MW3, and Halo Reach, so even though my setup isn't fully complete yet, I'm super happy with it and plan on collecting the older phat models in the near future. (I’ve had the Left 4 Dead 1,2 and Orange box disc’s for years) I grew up on the S, so it’s nice having it back.

Xbox 360 S hard drives

I just recently picked up a 2011 Xbox 360 S so I could replay games like Left 4 Dead how they should be, now this one I picked up is in great condition except for the fact that it was used by the seller mostly for Kinect and playing games with his kids so they never got the hard drive for it.

I’m interested in buying an official Microsoft one rather than a third party one, but I’m concerned knowing hard drives have moving parts and lifespans, some of these official Xbox 360 S hard drives cost a bit more online and they are getting old. I’m worried about spending money on a hard drive that could crap out on me at any time, what are my options?

My joint just engulfed in flames?

I’m not sure if this is a low effort post, but I’m genuinely confused and kind of distraught, sad and want to know what happened.
I’m a fairly new smoker and I’ve mostly smoked smaller 0.5g joints and most of them were the cigarette style roll or an infused one. I recently got a 1g Maui Wowie joint from the dispensary, so I figured I’d give it a try.
I went outside last night on call with some buddies and they witnessed me as I lit the front of the joint, and started inhaling while trying to puff out at the same time. (I think that’s what your supposed to do?) Almost instantly, the entire joint just burned straight down toward the filter. It happened so fast that it almost seemed like the joint exploded in my hand. It even made a weird sound, like the paper or flower was unraveling as it burned?
What the hell happened? Was there something wrong with the joint, or did I somehow cause this? I’ve never had anything like this happen before. The only thing I could come up with was maybe it had something to do with the fact that the bottom of my joint at the filter had no material in it, so my joint was extremely droopy which I tried to fix to my best abilities before going out to smoke it, it was completely unsalvageable in an instant it burnt all of the weed.

Performance on Xbox Series X

Does anybody know if it’s possible to get a higher FPS on the Xbox Series X while playing with my GOTY disk? I think the game normally runs on 30 fps, but it seems to drastically drop to around 15-20 fps if I had to guess when trying to play split screen co-op. Which just isn’t fun, thanks.

I’ve had this sport rifle since last summer now and she shoots good, it’s got lots of markings on it. I’m not sure if it was put into service by the Canadian military at all (I don’t see any Canadian C Broad arrow markings) but what might be a regular British Broad arrow markings that I’ve been told were turned into some form of * or star after war to show its end of service. It looks like it has a few Proof marks from post WW2 so I’m assuming it was used as a hunting rifle after World War Two in the U.K before coming back home to Canada. Any help would be great thanks
