Hi! I’m a COLA major, and I’m planning to take my required foreign language classes through Midland College. I’m leaning toward taking Spanish during the Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters. I’ve heard that Midland Spanish is an easier option than taking Spanish at UT, but I wanted to ask if the classes have gotten harder recently and whether Spanish at Midland is still considered one of the easier ways to complete the foreign language requirement. I’m also wondering about the course format and time commitment. Are the classes fully online, and do they require proctored exams? How time‑consuming are they week‑to‑week? Anything helps!
