I have an elitebook 840g8 and im planning to change the thermal paste on it. i have heard and seen from places where people recommend to not paste the PCH at all. before trying to experiment with that. has anyone tried comparing the difference between pasting the PCH or not?
i overclocked my monitor from 60hz to 90hz. i tested for frame skipping and it was working fine, the image quality looked the same with no differences. there was no increase in the physical temperature at all when i put my hand against the monitor (actually runs very cool). Other than that what other long term risks are there? i would also like to know the experiences of people running a long term monitor overclock
