Tuning a base ‘19 Swift 1.2l manual

Hello everyone,

Did 110k km on my Swift 1.2l manual, since new. Used as my daily for 6 years, but now got another daily.

I’ve decided to turn Swift it into a project car.
First off I’m doing all alcantara interior plastic parts, dash, doors , seats, roof, etc. at a local shop.

Since base model its not a very powerful car, I was thinking whats the best reliable tuning i could do to it.

Thanks✌️

1.5 eTSI vs 2.0 TSI

Hi everyone,

I went to check out the ’26 Terramar, and I was fascinated by everything.

The dealer offered me a great deal on the 2.0 TSI 204ps, which they have in stock and need to move.

For the same price, the 1.5 eTSI 150ps DSG is available for order. Specced with a few more extras (360 cameras, HUD, 19” Cosmic wheels, and a couple more driving assists than the 2.0TSI stock model).

As a heavy city daily driver, I am thinking about fuel efficiency, but I also want that extra power when overtaking on the highway once in a while.
Unfortunately, they do not have a 1.5 eTSI available for a test drive.

Based on your experiences, which engine should I go for: the 2.0 TSI that's ready to collect, or order the 1.5 eTSI?

***Or, should I go with the 2.0 TDI Formentor (smaller car, so maybe better for the city, but with less comfortable bucket seats)? It's also in stock, fully loaded, and at a similar price.

Thank you! 😄
