Neurodivergent Normies? Yeah they exist. And imo they are worse than the regular ones.

I had a former autist fren of 10+ years who i unfortantly had to cut off. We didnt have a huge fallout but man the way he acted espically in the damaged my view of him permently.

He was one of those idiots that thought if you work extra hard. Youll be rewarded. I warned him he would just end up being exploited. He simply ignored me but complained that well, he was being exploited.

I was simply a christmas temp at the grocerry store whilst he worked part time for 39hrs a week (alongside college/uni at the time). Theyd force him to make the rotas for the staff, be in charge of deliveries, do other manager stuff. All while he was getting the same betabux pay as me as a regular employee.

Then he had the cheek to complain to me about it yet says "OP, your reaction isnt good, this is normal in the workplace". And gossip behind my back.

Whilst this is the major example of neurodivergent normies. Ive met other ones too, some in college before i dropped out. Others online.

You would think they would question the bullshit of todays society but no. They dont think twice of it and sweep it under a rug just like the rest of the normies do.

Fuck Normies, but fuck the neurodivergent ones even more.

Not too sure why but can anyone explain why this might happen?

Ive been to wetherspoons all over the country, this is the only one that does so for a drink that isnt age restricted. And has done it many times in the past as well. To me it seems to just the 1 place itself as its unusual ive never experienced it elsewhere.

I thought id share some stories from my time in my past employment. Man ive had many different shitty ones in the past. For context i am in the UK.

Late may of this year, my work coach recommended me to do a months work experience with this retail company. He said it was up to me and wouldnt effect my benefits if i were to drop out early.

With this in mind, i said yes. Big mistake, i have no idea why i said so and immeditally regretted my desicion as i walk out the door.

Later that week i had an "interview" at said company. They said id be working 16hrs a week unpaid for 1 month. I also had to pay for my transport to and from the town out of pocket. They tried convincing me it was for "valubale life experience" but i saw right thru that bullshit lmao.

Fast forward to orientation. I always take the time to read the paperwork. Was supposed to get more paperwork but they couldnt be asked to give it out. This part is important for later.

The job was easy, quite literally just stacking shelves and helping customers out. Same thing i did for a prior job execpt i didnt get paid.

Anyhow, 2 minutes before the end of my shift my "trainer" if u will said i can start packing my things and leave so i do. Before i can exit the Head Manager stopped me in my tracks. Yelled at me for trying to leave 2 minutes early and tried to search my bag as they suspected i shoplifted.

I stand my ground. Say your not searching my bag as u dont have reasonable suspicion. They block my path to leave. Manager says i signed paperwork that allowed them to do so. I never recieved said paperwork

This is where i threaten to call the police. They back down. I leave.

Whilst my experience was extreme. Dont waste ur time on unpaid work. Fuck that company.

Hello NEET frens, its been a while. I used to be a regular on this subreddit a few months ago but lost details to old account.

My Life has had its ups and downs.

One of my close irl frens is in the hospital because he tried to kill him self from overdosage. He is slowly recovering. Ive been diagnosed with PTSD thanks to a job i had in 2024. Myself and another friend are at risk of homelessness soon. My local council has done jack shit to help so far. And my disabillitybux applications have been unsuccesful so far.

On the positive side im finally getting somewhere in trying to become a train driver. Have to go to company headquarters for psychometric testing. I am on stage 3 of 7 in the process. It typically takes a year to even get the job. Whilst i dont want to work. Its the only job i feel like id enjoy. Plus the pay is good.

Its very hard for me to stay in an optimistic mood. I cannot fuck up the exam ive been trying to get into this for years.

For the neets and mods that still are on this subreddit that used to interact with me. Thank u very much, your kindness, support and warm welcome is much appriecated.

Today i had to walk to my pharmacy to collect my monthly meds supply. On the walk back a couple approached me (im guessing there around 16-17 years old)

"Look at my boyfriend" the girl says snarkly

The boyfriend looks at me and cant stop smirking.

"I dont care, fuck off" i say, so they do.

I overhear them talking shit whilst walking away.

"Do you have a fucking problem" i yell.

"I will fuck you up" the boyfriend says.

I proceed to give them the finger and walk away. I was so close to fighting them. It wasnt worth it.

And this is exactly why i refuse to go outside unless i have to.

Going to my very last restart appointment on tuesday.

What should i typically expect from this? Ive heard they try to "encourage" you to stay on for another 6 months but thats not mandatory. Other than that what should i prepare for, is there any paperwork i need to sign etc

CONTEXT: 2 Weeks ago i volunteered to work an upaid work placement that job centre recommendated me. It was never mandated and it is NOT on my commitments or work plan.

Today was my first day of a 4 week unpaid work experience placement at major retail company. Shift went well until the last 2 minutes. My trainer told me to pack up and grab my belongings and i am free to leave. Once i grab my belongings the buisness manager yelled at me for trying to leave 2 minutes early. She proceeds to yell at me demanding to do a mandatory search to prevent a loss of items and by having my phone in my pocket to simply tell the time. I ask her her how im supposed to tell the time since theres no clocks in store. She ignores me completely.

My anxiety is already bad and the jobcentre are well aware of said mental health problems.

QUESTION: will i get sanctioned for refusing to go? Should i inform the jobcentre?

I returned my sky TV equipment in october. Everything was sent back on time. I have proof of this in the mysky app and my emails. Since november i have had a debt of £38 for apparrently not returning equipment.

Since last week they keep harrasing me with calls about said debt.

Today they told me they wont remove the amount of debt unless i get a sky tv subscription again. Which i refused. Anyone got any advice?
