Lala put out a whole “clapback” podcast episode today responding to Mauricio calling her a liar, but I think the nuance here is important. Mauricio wasn’t calling her a liar for saying he DM’d her — he literally posted the DM himself. He was calling her a liar for the way she framed it publicly.

Lala said she never opened/read the message, yet she also shared that he asked her to get coffee — which naturally created a certain implication around the interaction. The issue is, the coffee line was at the end of the DM. So if she never actually read the message, how did she know that detail?

That’s why this feels less like an outright lie and more like intentional framing. Lala is incredibly media savvy and knows exactly how to present something in the most headline-generating way possible while still leaving herself wiggle room later. Listening back, it honestly felt like she knew the story would spark speculation, discourse, headlines, and podcast clicks… and it did. Now there’s an entire follow-up episode about it and everyone’s talking.

Not really taking either side because Mau DMing her at all is still a little weird. But if he felt she was intentionally presenting the exchange in a misleading way to imply something flirtier than reality, I can understand why he publicly pushed back. Curious what everyone else thinks.

Ally was on Scheana’s podcast this week and goes into more detail about how hard it was to break the cycle of toxicity in her relationship with James and walk away for good. She credits Scheana and her mom for being the ones to help get her through, and talks about just how hard it was at times to maintain that boundary. If you’ve ever been in an abusive relationship, then you know just how difficult it can be to get out (and stay out). Major props to Ally for the strength that took, along with Scheana & Ally’s mom for pulling her through.

But listening to that back and remembering how Ally previously revealed that Lisa Vanderpump called her after the breakup and tried to convince her to take James back, I’m not going to lie, I’m fuming. No wonder Scheana has been on one to expose LVP since then. If I was trying to get my friend out of a DV relationship, and our “boss” (former, I know, but person of great influence in their lives) was trying to convince her to take the abuser back, I’d be seeing red.

Did anyone see the post that B&C made today about Lala producing a certain storyline during Season 11? Not sure of the exact rules about sharing info from there…

The blind item basically claims that during filming of S11, production told the cast they needed to “dial it up” or the season/show could be in trouble. Supposedly after that, Lala told producers about a story Scheana had privately shared with her about Schwartz making a move on her in Vegas years before, and production then pushed Schwartz to bring it up on camera.

Also claims Lala pretended she was hearing it for the first time in scene and waited until Scheana was drunk later that night to have it brought up so she’d be caught off guard. The overall implication was that the whole storyline was kind of manufactured behind the scenes by Lala and that Scheana/Schwartz allegedly had/have no idea she was behind it.

Anyone watching WWHL right now? Lala essentially just confirmed that LVP did indeed try to coax her into hooking up with Sandoval for a Season 11 storyline.
