MyHeard - Do humans eat homework?

TeacherTails bleated:

With the recent human refugee program allowing human refugees onto Venlil Prime I have been having some problems and need advice.

I am a schoolteacher on Venlil Prime and some of my students have families who have taken in human refugees. While I have nothing against humans and have a sister in the exchange program, humans have seemingly been causing problems for my students. Several of my students with refugees in their homes have been unable to turn in assignments on time and have told me that their human ate their homework.

While I am thankful they are eating homework and not people, I am confused as to why humans would eat homework. Paper doesn't have any meat in it and humans seem intelligent enough to know not to eat homework. Do humans really eat homework or should I punish my students lying to me? The excuse sounds suspiciously similar to claims that a "laysi/shadestalker/sivkit friend ate my homework" but I don't know enough about humans to be sure.

One of the earliest memories I have is my N-mom telling me about a movie called Sophie's Choice where a mother with two children has to choose one of her children to die and the other to survive. She was telling ~9 year old me and my younger sister about this movie for some reason and told me how she would choose to save my sister and for me to die. There was no reason at all for her to tell us about the movie just out of nowhere and much less to tell child me that she would choose for me to die.

Another time she randomly young me that she sometimes fantasizes about how much better her life would have been if she had aborted me and how she would have been super successful if I hadn't been born.
