Cousins
A mid-'90s MiK Regal spider-cone resonator and a '37 National Trojan. Both roundnecks. I just sold the Regal yesterday but took this picture with its cousin beforehand.

Hey, dutchies. I'm a Canadian son of post-war Dutch immigrants from rural eastern Netherlands. We grew up eating boerenkool stamppot frequently as we had a farm and it was cheap, nourishing food. We also ate carrot stamppot which we sometimes called hotspot. I knew other Dutch families who made stamppot with sauerkraut.
I'm curious if these meals are still popular today, or if they ever were in the cities in particular. It feels like farmer food, not restaurant food for sure.
I'm visiting my 86yo mother today and just enjoyed a big plate of stamppot met wurst, and boy was it good.
I love the muted colours of these films as they appear on YouTube. Here are a few of my favourites.
My only memory of Wolf is that I used to ride around on his back. He was a good fella.
Hope this doesn't look like self-promotion. I'm not selling anything.
