CDS usually gives me a minute between deliveries, welcome to the fold young Sonic
She is a wheezer and has a few medical issues, but she is winning the battle so far. Great energy, eats, drinks, and poops.

TLDR: dumpster kitten Sonic is doing better.
Today Sonic was able to leave the vet clinic (shout out to Cove Vet Clinics).
Sonic was found Day 1 in a south parking lot dumpster at the festival. She was taken to a few places that were unable to assist, but she got into Cove. Both eyes were crusted over/shut, she had severe upper respiratory breathing issues, low blood sugar (had not been eating), she was 0.8 lbs. She received IV treatments for hydration, nutrition, and anti-biotics.
Her current situation: blood sugar is normal and she is eating strongly. She is playing, currently watching CatTV, but has toy mice she is involved with. One eye is a ruptured globe, but her other eye is open and she is seeing. Her hearing/awareness is outstanding. She has a low-grade murmur and upper airway congestion (basically she is currently a "wheezer" cat). She also has been de-wormed and has herpes.
Long term: one eye ball is damaged/permanent failure and she may always be a "wheezer." Other than that, she is now playful, but smol. She is fairly trusting given her ordeal.
She is on a few meds until I take her to a normal Vet in a few weeks (which is back home in St Louis, lol). For now, Ill foster her (not my first and never my last, lol) until she is 100% and can be adopted.
Some have mentioned a GoFundme for her and although I appreciate the willingness to give financial support, that will not be necessary. Please always consider giving to others in need and maybe a shout out at the festival, lol.
Have a great day everyone and hope no more rain delays, have sunny skies.
Yeah, so Day 1 schedule changed after the ST gurus directed me to the very wrong location aka the livestock building. WTAF. Realizing that I was obviously in the wrong spot, I stopped to look at Google Maps. To my surprise, laying next to a dumpster on my driver side was kitten (no mama, no other cats). She was unresponsive, but decided to forgo the Day 1 schedule and get her to a vet. They pumped her full of everything and she is stable. Will see how she is Day 2 and how exactly I schedule the day, lol. FU DWP.
Waze sent me all over the place trying to avoid everything bad and sent me to the pit doom/despair of stalled traffic, lol.
Especially if you got a cat...
Oh man, its been a while since I have thought about what "category" I belong in.
Just a few more years I am just in "plus whatever" age, lol.
