(1/3) What happened, AJ?

Well, there's a lot to go over. Firstly, to address the elephant in the room (and to just get it out of the way), I've been... well, living. This community is like a moon orbiting a planet; I focus on it, and then it just... drifts away, until I pick up on it again. I struggle with having the same amount of interest for so many fandoms I'm a part of (Kirby, Splatoon, The Walten Files, etc.). I felt myself drifting away from this space because of a lot of self-reflecting, personal reasons. I know I've already discussed them here before, whether from the GC or in the form of actual posts here. But just because I'm not as active doesn't mean I've distanced myself COMPLETELY. If anything, I should apologize for being so distant from this small, loving home.

Like I said. Just living life. I'm already three weeks into junior year of high school, so I ought to bust my ass this year and stay on top of everything (but I have like, six electives, half of which are free periods, so it's a free year lol). And with me being so busy both online and IRL, it's gonna be pretty hard for me to catch up with everyone here. My personal hope is that it doesn't stay that way forever, and hell, maybe I'll be back on vacation to visit you guys. I hear I might go back up to that other house for Labor Day Weekend, so expect me to be back online.

This question I've focused on the most. With me being in school and all, the future of what's to come from me is very uncertain. Hell, I've announced a soft reboot of it, yet I still have no damn clue what to do with this new, better version of Gai's Wrath. If I had the motivation, let alone the free time, I'd actually get to work on it, but procrastination's a bitch, so I doubt that'll ever come to fruition. If I have any ideas for Eeveelution Squad that I wanna draw, I'll make sure to post it here. I'm not done with you guys yet. Not at all. >:3

HONESTLY, and this might sound a little odd, but I think Magolor had the hardest final attack. FYM HE JUST PULLED OUT SOME RANDOM ASS SWORD AND CHOPPED A ELDRITCH TREE IN HALF??? NO SCREAMING, NO ROAR OR BATTLE CRY, STRAIGHT HUSSLE

and for a while, I also loved 3DX's final attack. Imagine breaking the fourth wall, sucking up her hud AND her laser just to fire it POINT-BLANK too

For me, and idk if this is glazing>!(I hope its not)!<, but I think it's probably one of the best anniversary games for the franchise... EVER.

Lowk, I think it should've ended here, for I feel like star allies would've been a GREAT ending for the series, and it kinda does feel like the ending of kirby (especially considering how you play as '92 kirby after 100%-ing the game)

I can't wait to get a wide range of answers for this, considering that this concept art alone intrigues me so much that it makes me truly wonder... what DO inklings do as they grow older before moving to Inkopolis? if anything, here are MY takes!

Newborn - first few years: Constant occupying. I feel like they'd be encased in a tub of ink acting as their "crib". I feel like they're pretty much normal squids, or the kind of domestic octopuses some people keep as pets. They make a long, sometimes loud, gurgling noise, which is the sound they make when they cry! >!(This is also a perfect time to get as many photos of them as possible. It's common for some baby Inklings to reach stage 2 of development much earlier than others, so teen squids and parents are often frantic about taking as many pictures, even though it doesn't affect ALL Inklings)!<

2-3 years old: They evolve a little! They can crawl or walk with assistance (leaving little ink trails as they do, since I feel like the ink organs in their bodies are still developing!!). They move around puddles of ink and are more independent on certain tasks. I'd assume they'd have baby cartoons for them to watch >!(already knowing that in S3, there's a secret scroll with pages of an in-universe manga, so I expect the same for the cartoons. I wouldn't be surprised if Eggplant Boy was popular in the Splatoon world or there was Splatoon's equivalent to Disney, Marvel, DC, and other streaming services in terms of merch, broadcasting, etc.)!<

4-8 years old: They move around, run, speak, play, and are generally just the kind of little siblings that most of us IRL probably have. While not knowing Inkopolis YET, they often have a sudden fascination with fashion, shopping, and being 'cool' while still attending school. Kids in every school knew each other; kids would skip class just to go to ANOTHER school and trade with the kids THERE; kids often complimented fashion choices, HELL! In some schools across Inkadia, even if you weren't the freshest in the block, it was easy to get hooked up and up-to-date with all sorts of fashion! >!(Obviously, some schools would have dress codes, but we all know they wouldn't care as long as they have fresh kicks and hats to show off. ^^ Besides, some schools aren't ALL like that... some may be more harsh/competitive than others...)!<

9-12 years old: FINALLY ABLE TO WITNESS TURF WARS! There's probably, in some areas of Inkadia, things called "Junior Turf Wars" where all the younger Inklings use much weaker, safer tools developed by Ammo Knights' branched "kid-friendly" company. They'd hold these events in little parks and playgrounds and, to make everything fair, while the winning team of four gets free tickets to a food chain of their choice for food at no cost, the losers get a half-price discount for the same thing. They also throw a little 'sportsmanship' party where they let the losing team congratulate the winning team and even have chances to make new friends! >!(I know some Splatsville kids start fights in those, and they sure do... probably SO much that they stopped doing that shit a LONG time ago lol)!<

13-14 years old: Obviously final days of youth. At 13, they start a grueling packing process to prepare themselves for next year and load it into a community truck to haul off to their apartment in Inkopolis Plaza/Square, and, by the time they're 14, VOILA! They're on their own!
