How to play from behind?

I was checking my stats on league of graphs and realised I snowball games way better than others in my elo, but surrender more and lose more games when behind against the same.

I feel like I have a tendency to greed for resources when I could be making plays or chunking out laners. I'm in P1 and spend most of the early and mid game at 8-9 cs/m and will almost always secure first 2 drakes unless mid and bot are hard lost, and I think thats where I fuck up. If I can't stack drakes and farm hard, I feel like the game is cooked.

My second choice is to fish for ganks bot. If that fails and my top is losing, I just reset and repeat until something works or we lose the game. If a lane is hard losing I don't cover them and it normally happens that I will get invaded and drop levels and then will go autopilot until gg.

How do you guys play from behind? Should you flip invading their camps with no vision if you have cleared as much as possible of your own? Or do you just walk around and pray your team gets enough gold and they throw?

Van 289 and Repair Installations

Game is completely fucked. Will randomly say Van 289 error and then my game closes. After restart, I have to repair my installation. Had a game with stuck loading screen, tried to restart, then got slapped again on the way back into the game with a fcking installation repair. -LP and matchmaking penalty. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything to do with Riot Games but to no avail.

Depressive loop

I have this thing where I'll be pretty low, wasting days gaming and lazing away, until I hit rock bottom and finally find my footing to bounce back and conquer my life. I'll start hitting the gym, speaking to friends again, cooking my own food, then my anxiety kicks in and I'm stressed about what other people think about me. Then I can't get it out of my head. I'm like Macbeth screaming "Full of scorpions is my mind", then I stop talking to people for days or weeks until my brain moves onto other problems and the unbearable movement of time and then it keeps on going while I just play computer games and order Doordash until I hit rock bottom. Find my footing. And then it happens all over again. Can you guys relate? And any advice?

Am I bad or is this champ dead rn?

She only feels strong early like level 2 and can really only make plays level 3 with strong laners. After that, she gets out-tempod, out-dueled, and is harder to play than almost every other jungler right now. I have had no success invading, and my only way to win is to perma 3 camp gank, until I have enough gold that fucking Yuumi Jg could be winning fights. She deals mediocre damage until 2 items and even then, its still hard to snowball the game. What am I doing wrong?

How to use Lurkers correctly?

I'm a noob to the game, and am only now starting to flesh out my builds and game plans, but one thing I really struggle to use is Lurkers. Whenever I make them into Terran they get obliterated immediately, and I find going Ling - Bane - Ultra w/ Infestors or Hydras way better. And into Protoss, I have way more success just going Roach - Ravager - Hydra with Lings to Remax. Whenever I see them used its either in full Turtles with Evo Chambers to wall, or depoted with Nydus Worm to deal huge Base Damage. Is that all there is to it, or can I get more out of them.

I would be hardstuck Silver if not for Hubris

This item has to be so fucking broken. It takes the anti 1v9 changes and says fuck you. On champs that are bruisers / assassins it is insane. I get like 50 bonus AD at least every game I buy it, then I can still go bruiser items and still do insane damage. I'm not complaining about the LP I gain, but holy fuck, this item is carrying the shit out of me. Dark seal on the other hand feels worthless most of the time. Turns you into a KDA player which just doesn't feel viable on champs like Sylas Jg that are so feast or famine. One death in a hard game just completely destroys any chance of making a comeback when you're forced to buy Mejai's. Not an issue with Hubris.

Any Seju Jg players out there that can help?

What makes Sejuani better than other tanks in the Jungle. I also play Poppy, who imo fits a similar role, but is great into champs with dashes with W. What about Sejuani makes her better than other junglers at this role, because she also has a pretty high winrate.

Another crashout post

-19 +21 from P2 for months all the way to P4 and now finally back to gold. Every loss feels unavoidable, 80% of my wins require everything from me. Anywhere I play other lanes is fair game, because Jg tilts me a lot after playing all day, so I play offrole on purpose. Send help. Send other stuff to Riot HQ. Lmk if I'm coping.

Anyone who has smurfed in Plat from higher elo, how do you climb?

I have played probably near enough 100 games going up and down in plat, with a shit ton of games where my top or bot will simply die. Over and over and over again. Just pure incompetence. I made it to P1 by blocking it out and just farming camps until I generate a lead on the other side, but most games it feels like taking my camps, invading theirs and ganking the other side when they overextend isn't enough. Am I supposed to drop camp time to force a bigger lead on the other side? How do smurfs make it through mid game when enemy has a carry with 8+ kills. It's not starcraft, there has to be something I'm missing. Is it actively watching lane matchups? Does that matter when each player is either gonna run it down or run them down? NattyNatt talks about lane volatility alot. Do I need to start using that?

Is there more room for growth at the apex of the game past Serral?

As a post-8 worker newbie, I have fallen into the rabbithole of binging Lowko videos, and eventually watching lots of Serral as an aspiring Zerg. Watching Serral play though, makes me realise that he still loses games against other top players. Overall he's rank 1, but he gets outmacrod sometimes and drops games. I didn't watch Serral before the 8-worker change and I can only think that the 'mistakes', if you can call them that, is just a lack of habit from the changed timers. Was he an absolute machine before that? I can imagine like a Stockfish equivalent, seeing a few second late hatch or a fake out Ling push in ZvZ and answering with the optimal build patch for what should be coming. With optimal scouting timers, is it not always possible to react perfectly if you know a matchup that well? Or are optimal scouting timers a myth, and there is always a gap for you to miss something.

Total Newbie Looking for Gear Help

Hello people, I am looking for any gear recommendations to setup a camping trip. I have a budget of ~£250, and would like to have a tent to fit 3 people, the rest can just be single items for my own use. I don't mind buying second hand if it is worth it. What would I need, what would you recommend as add-ons, if any, and also what shoes are worth buying if they are a necessity.

Please and thank you.

Edit: I have an ordinary backpack, is that fine as a casual camper? Only have trainers. I will probably camp either at an official camping site solo, or wild camping with a few friends.

What it means when the Jazz plays

I rewatched Taxi Driver recently and I'm pretty sure it is used as a metaphor for escapism. Whenever Bickle detaches himself from the scum of the street and believes himself a spectator to the streets he lives on it plays. When he's waiting for Betsy outside her workplace it plays. When the man whose wife cheated on him comes to kill her, the music breaks away iirc. When Iris comes for help early on in the film it cuts. When Iris takes a role as the second protagonist of the film it plays while she slow dances with her abuser, to avoid the truth. Travis is unbearably lonely, and when escapism is no longer enough to keep away from his thoughts and his attempts at reintegrating and seeking help with and from the people around, leave him more estranged and lonely than before he falls further into his delirium and anger for the scum and filth on the streets and even directs itself at Betsy, an innocent bystander. In the end, the secret service protects Palantine, and he goes down to kill the pimp and his people, traumatising Iris and leaving her in worse shoes than she started with when she first ran away from home.

How to play the vision game?

I recently made it to P1, and am now starting to get really punished for not knowing where wards are and how enemy jungler and support is abusing that.

Since then, it feels impossible to do anything but keep on clearing or try a lane gank when there will be a ward on my raptors, in tribush, in Faelight Pixel so its so hard to pull off ganks other than through the lane. Is it just team diff if I'm perma on vision throughout mid-game?

What to do vs 2+ assassins

I am strongly of the opinion that into assassins, buying hp is such a strong counter since it allows you to survive their combo and continue to deal damage in an extended fight and should allow you to win team fights off of this. Only problem being HP doesn't win lanes, only neutralise them.

Now, I had a game where my Mid and ADC were playing mages into 3+ assassins. If this is the case, and it is incredibly likely to die instantly anyways, would you still buy HP as a counter. As a Bruiser / Assassin, it's different because DD and HP is so broken it insta wins all ins. For a mage what would be better? Dealing as much damage as possible before you die or buying HP and playing your life.

I don't get how this role is supposed to be the easiest to climb on

I just had an awful losing streak of 11 games and each one felt totally unplayable. Mid loses, top loses, support is gapped, adc loses, and cycle between them over and over until I dropped out of plat. The games just feel so unplayable. My laners get pushed in? I can't gank because its warded from pixel to my blue, but the enemy jungler can come into pixel bush and stroke his johnson without getting spotted. I didn't drop 12 camps and sit in top brush so my top laner can farm, spam pinged. A Zed OTP held last pick into Malzahar and wanted me to gank him 5 times before level 6, I unlocked rare 2nd pet. And then I'm invaded off cd and camped in my own jungle until the game ends. I thought I could just play camp respawns, nope. I thought I could play an invading champ, nope. I thought I could play to perma gank, nope. Nothing matters because if my laners don't respect the jungler, and the enemy does, I don't even get a chance to take advantage of my role. If I had faith my teammates would take advantage of me dropping a camp or two to get a reset and make lane even I would do it, but it never happens. This role is hell, what a terribly designed position. The whole game is supposed to revolve Jg timers and objectives, but I don't think I've seen a single support setup a gank for me in the last week. I had 10x less cortisol filled Ahri mid and setting up my Jg for the whole game. I genuinely struggle to understand what high elo players do to get out of this shit show so fast. You're the punching bag of your teammates and the enemy team.

Is invading worth if enemy laners move?

I think I understand when to pick Nidalee and how she can bully someone out of the game, but everytime I play her, Mid, Top, Support will all move to punish while my laners will take advantage of the afk to push and crash the wave. This leads to me losing the camp and getting chased across the map. Is that still fine? Or should I want my laners to follow the roam?
