Hair care and styling tips
Hi!
To get straight to the point, I don’t know how to care for my 4c hair. I know the basics of using a bonnet and satin pillowcase to protect my hair. But since I was raised by a white woman who adopted me because I was black, and really no other reason, she didn’t care to teach me anything about my hair, and I had to learn about black history myself and from school. I am currently trying to grow my hair out, but since the only thing I have is TikTok, thoughts, prayers, and Mielle rosemary oil, I feel I am in over my head. What products should I use for my hair to help it grow? What gels should I use for styling? What’s a good brand that won’t dry my hair out more? How often should I wash my hair? Are there any styles you recommend for short hair? I have a lot to learn…
