Investengine, Vanguard, T212, Lightyear, who’s best?

Need help. New to all this. Overwhelmed with choices.

Basically I want something I’m not tempted to tamper with and can have good customer service. I want to set and forget.

Every says T212 but think I’ll just end up messing with my portfolio too much. Investengine is close but customer service isn’t great, slow emails and no phone call, and vanguard, well it seems like it’s just clunky?

Any advice to help narrow down, any personal experiences with a few of them?

Is boring better?

What are people’s feelings towards the newer more modern stock platforms? Does anyone still use traditional platforms like vanguard?

I feel like T212, Lightyear etc are great but encourage constant checking and playing around with.

Does anyone use Vanguard direct for the very reason it’s slow and boring as it can become more of a set and forget?

Did anyone notice they become more regimented and left their investments alone when they stuck with vanguard over more modern platforms?

Decluttered UI suggestion

After my recent post about Monzo becoming cluttered and too many suggestions and anything important being too annoying to get to.

This is a concept of a more cleaner UI, makes the max plan seem more premium whilst keeping main theme and colours, less clutter and most importantly - the most crucial accounts visible as soon as you open the app.

Vanguard v other platforms

The more I look into other platforms the more I think less is more in terms of long term investing.

Have you guys tried other platforms? And do you find the fact it’s not as innovative as other apps is better for set and forget?

Great platform - bit cluttered

I do think generally overall T212 get it bang on.
Feeling like the app could definitely have a clean up. Some sections and accounts are tucked inside too many layers.

Less is definitely more. Think Lightyear have got this bang on, but T212 may be slightly ahead in terms of overall offering, customer service and track record.

Whoop like Sleep data - great update

This is huge from Coros. As someone who owned both the whoop and Coros and recently cancelled whoops membership, this is a huge step forward.

Obviously I know it’s not as in depth as whoop but I think giving more recovery/sleep insight is such a good move.

I think whoever gets the balance of accurate fitness tracking, and recovery will take a lot of the market share.

Love Monzo but

The app is nearly perfect but the amount of clutter and suggestions it has is putting me off. Being bombarded with suggestions and tabs and multiple offers.

This should be an option of tucked away on another page not there In your face when you’re trying to do day-to-day banking.

Less is definitely more, in terms of space.

Reapply after closing

Any update on returning customers? I know they’re not currently, has anyone done a workaround? I regret closing this bank.

Cleanest app and card by far
