This could be fun
I've always been of the opinion that Stealth Jet bombs are underrated, even if I understand people's frustrations with them. You can line up your run perfectly, but if your target moves a few feet you go from "instant tank death" to "scratched the paint."
Depending on how strong and reliable the tracking is though, this could make the Fighter Jet a pretty potent tankbuster if you have a dedicated JTAC. 3 direct hits will kill light armor, 4 will kill an MBT, and it'll happen faster than the missile-gun-bomb-missile combo from the Attack Jet. I think this'll be especially good at tagging the Boats, since they don't have as much cover out on the water.
Stuck away from home for 4 months without a proper kitchen. Needed a break from gas station food so I borrowed my roommates hotplate to make chicken curry. Results were... Mixed.
Tastes pretty good at least. I don't have a fully stocked spice cabinet so I just threw some paprika and cumin on the chicken, then once it was cooked dumped in a bottle of curry paste, some chicken broth, chickpeas, and too much coconut milk, and topped it on some basmati rice which is sticky because I don't have a proper strainer for them.
With no resupply point for bombs, I've had to rely on guns a lot more on this map
Overanalyzing every detail of the new jets and IS THAT ROCKET PODS ON THE HORNET?
I've been trying to surmise how the new jets will work (because I don't wanna wait for a blog post) and I realized we got a decent undershot of the Hornet in the trailer thumbnail. I don't want to put too much stock into this, after all it's just a thumbnail, but if it's accurate then the Hornet looks stacked. Looks like it's got AA Missiles on the wingtips and fuselage, plus Rocket Pods and Bombs under the wings. I'm guessing this means the pilot gets the gun and dumbfire ordnance while the WSO controls the lockons.
It's harder to see in the side-by-side shot, but you can definitely see green from the bombs on the outer hard points and what looks like a grey cylinder peaking out from the inner, and fins from the missiles mounted on the fuselage underneath, just like in the thumbnail.
Trying to figure out the F-14, we know from the cockpit shot that the RIO is using the AIM-54, which was exclusive to the Tomcat IRL, and has AA Lockon missiles too. It kind of looks like that's poking out from under engine intakes, but that could just be a drop tank. It looks like it has the same AA missiles as the Hornet does- presumably one would have to be controlled by the pilot, but idk what the pilots secondary weapon would be.
I guess we'll find out soon anyways, but I'm hyped for the new jets and have to overanalyze what few crumbs we have of them.
I love bullying AA Tanks in the Stealth Jet
Am I the only one who thinks Superglue looks tasty?
I bet it tastes like strawberry bubblegum
