I recently heard a whisper that Shashi Tharoor is exploring his options out of INC. But since he doesn't want the CM position, and the BJP leadership is not able to afford his ask(need to know basis), there is a stalemate.

There is also a completelt different chatter in the RSS block that some very prominent leaders of both RSS & BJP are intimidated of the influence Tharoor might bring.

Personally, I believe he would be a great value addition for the BJP and might concrete their power status for multiple upcoming elections if they are mature enough to set aside their differences for the greater good of the nation. But, what do I know?

I heard UP Police, allegedly, is running low on bullets as they sold most of their stock while reporting fake/exaggerated numbers used in the alleged encounters.

This is my personal experience from a tier - 3 city of UP. All the gangsters that were the biggest names in Extortion, Kidnapping, Supari killings etc. have either surrendered or encountered. Whatever few are left are running Massage and Spa centres (IYKYK). Talk about the rule of law.
