I’m not ready for New Balances but I need some go-to shoes. What you got?

Now that I’m in my 40’s I have no idea what the current cool shoes are.

I used to have about 10 pair. Vans, converse, Clark’s desert boots, Sperry’s, all have steadily worn out. I’m down to a pair of trail runners and some Nikes I got from Ross.

Looking for a pair do wear everywhere go-to shoes. You know what I’m talking about. The shoes you wear to Costco, Home Depot, chasing after kids, standing in line, worn with shorts or jeans.

I’m in the lower SE US tropical humid as fuck climate so I like to wear socks with my shoes so my feet don’t stink.

I need a one shoe does all until they are my designated grass cutting shoes. And I’m not ready for the New Balance 608v5’s.

Trying to find something on sale because I have a 9 month old and I need to save up for all the berries.

So, what are we wearing today? What’s your go to?

Should I start my collection with this FB marketplace find?

Or should I hold out and start with the collective plates of the crew of VOY?

In ME:2 the Tupari Vending Machine in Zakara Warehouse references a real Pepsi Slogan translation error

“When Pepsi entered China, it launched with the slogan, “Pepsi Brings You Back to Life.” It found the proper Chinese translation and launched its campaign. What Pepsi didn’t realize was that the phrase, due to improper translation, was “Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave.” This is not a good marketing strategy in a country where ancestor worship is an important part of the culture.”

From a Forbes Article.

Interested if the failed Coca-Cola translation “bite the wax tadpole” is referenced anywhere in the game.
