Allergies or worse…?

Hello!

Question for you all to see if you believe I’ve worsened allergies or something else. Of course not asking for medical advice.

Age 30, and have had fairly mild seasonal allergies since college (for last 10 years or so). I usually take a daily loratadine or nothing at all.

This year I noticed my allergies were slightly worse as summer started so I started taking fluticasone propionate here and there.

Fast forward to end of July, and I suddenly had what seemed to be much more severe allergies. My nose was dry and clogged, but no cough or sneezing, mucus was clear, and I had trouble taking a deep breath.

Teladoc called it hay fever and provided azelastine HCI which has helped but I’m not 100% still after a week of usage. Perhaps that’s just how it is.

Does this sound like hay fever to you? Is there another specialist I should go to?

Would this be “allowed”?

I run a local home services business and am looking to run a campaign for more customers.

Ideally, I’d run ads with creative mentioning $100 cash or a gift card for every person referred.

Can this be done and still comply with Facebook’s rules? I’ve been unable to find a clear answer online.

Thanks!

Anyone else feeling trapped?

Here in the US, the job market is pretty terrible. It’s especially bad for new grads, but same deal for someone more mid-career like myself.

During the COVID boom, I’d have an interview for a new company every week. Now, these companies are banking so heavily on “AI” that job opportunities are rare. I’ve probably applied to 30 jobs and haven’t gotten a single first round.

I frankly cannot stand my job, but there’s nowhere else to go. The “job hugging” is real. Thankfully I’ve enough of a safety net to be fine without a job for a few years, but it’s not an ideal position to put myself in.

Curious if anyone else is in the same boat?
