Recent experience

I'm at day 24 after strong dose hyaluronidase. At day 14 I posted up on here, in despair. There didn't seem to be any improvement or rebound to my skin. It had massively hollowed out. Most of the responses I got from this reddit group were that the improvement I see at day 14 is as much as I'm going to get. Wrong! I have noticed a positive change last morning and today. So for anyone who thinks that there is no way back, I'd wait till around the 11 or 12 week mark to conclude that.

Anyone who has passed the 3 month mark and is still deflated. I know it must leave you scared to try anything, but perhaps you could take little steps towards skin recovery. Maybe a weak topical, then something stronger, perhaps microneedle a small area then a bigger area. So far what people have said has helped them: Tesoro, GHK Cu, emu oil, threads, microneedling, meso, tretinoin

I was in a dark and miserable place these last 3 weeks, so I can relate to the dispair felt by those who think their skin is not going to recover. I'm not recommending the treatments above, but just trying to give hope. If you're feeling down about this maybe a cautious approach can help you to establish if there is anything in particular that might help you.

Going on long holiday

Want to take filler, but prefer to take it in a vial rather than syringe for obv reasons. Is it available in any other inconspicuous form apart from loaded syringes?

Hyaluronidase aftermath. Compiling a list of all the things that have helped

I am on day 20 after hyaluronidase. It was a strong dose that took me beyond baseline unfortunately. Some people say the volume you've achieved 14 days after hyaluronidase is as good is it's going to get. Others say it takes longer. My skin deflated on days 1 and 2. On days 3 - 5, it went from squishy to soft. As there has been no change since day 5, I'm going to assume that this is as good as it gets.

Apart from filler which i want to avoid, I'd like to make a list of all the treatments that have helped people on here. Someone already said tesoro and prf/prp. I'm weary of using threads or sculptra. It almost feels like my fat pad reduced too. Any topicals? Or topicals that have worked after needling? Any devices? Please only state what has worked for you and what you can clearly attribute to helping your situation. Thanks

EDIT: Please, only contributions of treatments that helped restore your skin (excluding filler)

Fillers from Korea

Hi, does anyone have experience of kairax, Regenovue, revolax, neuramis etc. ? Is there a difference between CE certified and those that aren't? Apart from non-CE revolax, the others seem to have high purity levels, including CE revolax, but non-CE revolax apparently has higher endo toxin levels.

Hyaluronidase

Hi all. Day 15 after a strong dose of hyaluronidase and I'm starting to loose hope.

Still no signs of any rebound. It left a very noticeable sunken area in one cheek (the other cheek never had filler to start with). This is therefore beyond baseline.

I need to be back at work in a couple of weeks. I'm looking into getting a dental prosthesis to plump out that area just in case. But it's not ideal.

Sorry to lower the tone. I know this group is DIY Heaven...

Anything I can do in the next 7 - 10 days that'll help me to be presentable for work? Make up doesn't help. Its too deep

Day 15 after hyaluronidase and hope is fading

I had a strong dose of hyaluronidase in the middle of one cheek 15 days ago. By the next day the area had caved in and the skin felt squishy and almost "damp" to the touch. Tacky maybe.

It was an area about the size of a 3cm wide circle. It's funnel shaped. By day 8 it was less squishy/damp. Today is day 15 and I'm not seeing any rebound. It's a little better in the mornings, but 2 hours later it looks deep again (AI says it looses the water around it once I start moving around). It's very unsymmetrical with the other cheek which didnt have filler.

I need to be back at work in 2 weeks. So I'm looking into having some sort of dental prosthesis to plump out the cheek. I have been using cotton wool placed in the gum area when I've had to go outside recently. It completely hides the volume loss, but makes talking difficult and sometimes it slides forward a little too much.

If this was going to improve would I have seen a slight difference by now?

Is there anything I can do prior to going back to work that might help?

Filler nodule

Hi, anyone here had a filler nodule? Any tips for how to tell whether it's a nodule, scar tissue, cyst, granuloma? I'm an older (and still vain!) "male" who was very self conscious after a gardening accident caused a big dent in my skin. I had it filled about 3 months ago but decided to have it dissolved. The practitioner used dissolver. This is how it looks 3 days later. Does anyone know if that is a granuloma? Cyst? Scar tissue? The tissue feels like there's a slightly hard squishy pocket inside. It didn't reduce even after dissolver was used directly in that area

Non transitioning closeted trans gone stealth later in life, my past feels irrelevant including the people

I imagine it feels similar to leaving a cult after years and not knowing any different. I dont feel liberated, but I do feel relief at not having to explain or justify myself, or try to navigate around awkward situations and conversations anymore. It feels more peaceful, but 2 years on, very lonely too. I dont miss being constantly misunderstood. But it has also been a wake up call over how difficult it can be even in the trans world, to find people who have the time of day for anyone with a different outlook or agenda to theirs.

My life feels almost like a non existence, but for health, safety and financial reasons I decided not to transition. Before anyone says choosing not to transition is the cause of you feeling that way, I would urge you to not see things in such a black and white way. The decision whether to transition or not, was an agonising one. I didnt take it lightly. I just knew I couldn't cope with complications or societal abuse had I taken that route. I have had gender identity issues from childhood. It has been a quiet suffering. I learnt "shame" early in life. On the way I discovered that body dysmorphia is also a common symptom.

How do you bring meaning to your life? Especially if you dont have children. I say my life is "almost" a non existence because I'm still glad I got to incarnate this planet to see nature, animals, trees, the stars, the oceans, arts ... my one regret would be my inability to connect with humans in a meaningful way! How do some of you trans folk who have decided not transition, find it?

Health care in Sri lanka. What are the biggest problems?

Following the economic crisis, what are the biggest health care challenges faced by ordinary citizens? How easy and affordable is access to Primary Care? What needs to happen to retain health care professionals? I have read concerning articles on the brain drain and medicines shortage. How was the country reduced to this unfortunate level? Is there any optimism about the future? Many countries are facing changes to healthcare provision, with limited access to family doctors etc what action plan does sri lanka have in place?
