Pellet Grill Reverse Seared NY Strip

Pellet Grill Reverse Seared NY Strip

SPG seasoned on steak before reverse searing on Traeger grill at 225 degrees with a smoke tube until 118-120 internal temp. Used a cast iron ripping hot to sear the steak while flipping every 30 seconds and the sides of the steak for roughly 4ish minutes.

Traeger Pork Butt

12 hours with smoke tube and run between 225 while unwrapped and 250 while wrapped in butcher paper.

Seasoning applied the day before as follows:
- Traeger Perfect Pork
- S&P
- Garlic Powder
- Smoked Paprika

Spritzed a few times throughout the cook with a mix of apple juice and apple cider vinegar which I later mixed into some of the pulled meat for flavor.
