I am currently an yr 13 student just finishing off, I need guidance on whether to go for Bachelor in finance or accounting, my initial thought was to go for bachelors in accounting and finance but to my suprise only few universities offer this. So I need guidance on whats the difference , which is better, as well as job prospects for the UAE market.

I’m planning to study Finance in the UAE and I’m trying to decide between international university branches like Heriot-Watt, Murdoch, Wollongong, Curtin, RIT, and DMU, or universities like United Arab Emirates University, Abu Dhabi University, Zayed University, University of Sharjah, and Ajman University.
I wanted some honest opinions from students or graduates about which university is actually worth it for finance in terms of reputation, internships, job opportunities, networking, and scholarships.
If you study there, how much scholarship did you get and would you say the fees are worth paying?
Also, for someone more interested in finance, banking, consulting, investments, and corporate finance, would you recommend a specialised Finance degree or Accounting & Finance? I’ve heard many Accounting & Finance programs are actually more accounting-focused.
Would really appreciate any genuine advice from current students or graduates. Thanks!
