Matt's Vocals On "Be With You" Live 🔥🔥

He's nailing it. It works much better live for me, with the production too.

Hope each show they keep adding 2/3 different alts and then rotate...

So many awesome songs in the catalogue now....

Also the production can't be an excuse not to vary it now...as it's more about the music in these venues, so that freedom should reflect the set variance if they're feeling adventurous...

Mere Hour Away From New Live Era Beginning. What's Your 10 Songs That Need To Make A Comeback?

New live era begins properly tonight. Might be slightly shorter and less production (being a festival) but tonight kick starts what the boys have said is 2/3 years of touring this new album...

Pretending they're not stubborn with their setlists for a New York minute, here's some songs that are not played/rarely played or haven't ever been played and NEED to make a comeback! I've tried to fit some that would go with the return to space and Matt's heads space.

I'm gonna limit it to 10 (even though I have far more in mind!

What's your 10 (and why if you feel the need to explain - does it fit with this album cycle concept/ relevent the world right now, etc.

(In order of release) Songs that haven't been played live in the last 5 years (or only once)

#1 Sunburn

#2 Falling Down

#3 Darkshines

#4 Futurism

#5 Butterflies & Hurricanes

#6 The Small Print

#7 Ruled By Secrecy

#8 City Of Delusion

#9 Unnatural Selection

#10 Animals

Guys "Be With You" Live Proshot is unlisted again!

Quick someone download it this time! I can't at this minute. Get It uploaded directly in here...in case they take it down again. Really awesome live! Much better than the album version, what do we think? Strong vocals from Matt. This kills Compliances reason to ever exist again, right?

Album Cycle: What's Next?

Proshot Live Performances: I know these have become less of a thing as the years have gone but every album cycle has at least included some.

Late Night Shows are still airing. So while they're in the states perhaps they could do Kimmel or Fallon, for example, when in the area. Any suggestions?

I feel like the label will want to get them on some shows to shift tickets!

Later on -

SNL UK, Norton, Jonathan Ross or the new series of Jools Holland, which will air when they're touring the UK...

Last cycle they put out the "performance live" videos of 3 of the tracks, probably while they were rehearsing for the tour, I'd welcome something like that now...

Unprivate The Last "Be With You" video. You can see "6 in the playlist" but only 5 available. I get it was probably meant to originally coincide with "Be With You" the track and when that got delayed, they shelfed the last one and it's just gone the way of the Zepp and all the other unexplained hold outs! It did appear briefly, didn't it?

The "Be With You" Brixton video that those found on the signal search but was also taken down. Surely that should be up now to go with the Japanese bonus audio track?

Official Instrumentals: We used to get the full album instrumentals whether from the band or hook or crook from some label dude that had a CD:R with them....I know with A.I we can do mostly all that but you can't beat the audio quality from an official instrumental and for getting the acapella vocals...Anyone made their own yet?

Remixes: Matt hinted at "maybe" wanting a Nightshift remix "to get It in clubs"

I also think this album, considering we got so much of it before hand could do with this extra content to keep us entertained and consumed. Last album they did do several remixes and also had folks like Purple Disco Machine do one for "Compliance" for example. Hopefully there's so takers for NSS...Shame Daft Punk weren't still active, they'd do an awesome mix!

Acoustic/Alts: They did a lot of this in the early days and since we've thrown back to that era quite a bit this record, it would be nice to hear some alternative versions of these songs. They obviously did this in a bigger way on ST with the SDE acoustic/alt/remixes and most recently with the Ghost Town version of Unravelling which I thought was a really cool vibe and interesting take. More of that please!

Shimmering Scars would work awesome in a very stripped piano new vocal version. Bare and raw. Sickness has so many options for a cool remix.

Deluxe of the album: This album has been almost universally praised and one of the things that create is the desire for - more! We don't want to wait another 4 years when they're on this form. Matt talked about unreleased track(s) from the session. They've also talked about a 3 year tour plan, so between USA/EU/UK tour and the stadium tour next year, would be cool to get some kinda deluxe DLC! Almost every album, pop and rock has some kinda of deluxe these days...

So neo-classical piano ballad, 10 minute Space Debris and all the before mentioned remixes etc please...

What do you want to see from this cycle over the next 6 months to a year?

Albums used to be front loaded by design...with the singles and the biggest most worked on tracks BUT....

TW!S second side and half is just incredible and while I love the whole album, it's just an incredible run 6-10!

I mean:

Hexagons

The Sickness In You & I

Unravelling

Hush

Space Debris

🔥🔥🔥 It's a full on emotional ride that second half!

Bullet In The Head - Should I expect it or not?

So I ordered a week prior to release date as a preorder on Amazon and it said "in stock" and it would be delivered to me June 28th (after initial release date)...

That initial date has disappeared and now say this. (Pictured)

Should I expect to get this....it remained "in stock" several days after ordering it on the site.

Bit worried, as I know these are limited runs.

Matt: Interview excerpt NME...

"When you have a period where you feel like you’re in control of your life and your career, where everything’s going well, that’s a really hard place to write from. I didn’t want that to be true, but I’ve just proven it to myself because I do think it’s the best album we’ve done in a long time. I’m like, ‘Damn, I’m going to have to live a life of turmoil to make good music! How annoying!’”

😓 It's true though...most powerful and great music comes from heartache and struggle...it's why bands and artists who make it, struggle so much to recapture their original power and sound...as they've made it! It's not lost talent, usually ...it's just comfort doesn't breed creativity like strife does....

Matt, Dom, Chris (and Dan!) Appreciation Post.

This album is making many of us feel things towards the band we haven't genuinely felt in years...(Maybe decades for some) not on this level of emotion, talent, composition and intrigue. It's quite the return to form and one many thought we'd never see again...if we're honest.

What a reversal of fortunes!

I have read over the scatter of many many posts lots of the individual moments you guys have enjoyed from this record by the guys

...I thought it would be nice to make a concise post about 3 moments from the record attributed to any of the members (or producer) that stand out and wow'd you! We know the guys do check in here from time to time and it's album day, so odds are at least ONE of them will be lurking in at some point today to see what "our very hardcore and mad fanbase" think....

So what are your 3 things? (Not favourite songs!)

(I'll post my own later)

Matt Interview With The Sun...

...including the most revealing answers and details of the main reasons for the emotions on this album....

It's gonna be hard for him to play a few tracks off this record by the sounds of what's happened...so raw and if it all occured in October of last year, that's when the main sessions of the record started too...so must have been so fresh! Also, he clearly cancelled those dates this year to be a father and there for his young kids...

Tomorrow We Hear Album #10...

...Ok who's going and to which store? I'd imagine a fair chunk of this sub will be attending some sort of Indie store tomorrow to hear the debut of TW!S....Are these"no phones" events or that won't be policed? If so, people are gonna audio record the whole thing right or sneak a recording somewhere, inevitable!?

So in poorer quality the album will be out tomorrow and probably leak in good quality a day or two later, now stock is at record stores....

I'm excited but slightly nervous...if the whole album is consistently on par with the quality of our preview 5 singles, I know it'll be an album worthy of Muse and our replay enjoyment. The guys seem really pumped about this era in interviews etc, so I'm sure it'll be the best thing since "Drones" and optimistic that it will perhaps be the best (most consistent) Muse album since 2009.

Are you going to hear tomorrow and what song(s) are you most excited to hear?

TFI Official Recently Posted This Funky Throwback...🔥

Great to have in better original sound and video. Seeing stuff like this makes me wonder, why did Prince never do Jools Holland? Surely the format was totally up his street....supporting up and coming new talent and a proper muso show for real musicians! Surely they asked him?

Anyone know if the issues with the first batches of Vinyls having an earlier mix are fixed now? Have they printed ones with the final mix yet?

Belmont Cinema: December 2027 Reopening...

...Finally! I clicked on this article...thinking, yet another puff piece (albeit some well written and interesting ones) about the hopes and dreams of The Belmont returning....was beginning to think - never!

It was starting to feel like the numerous articles over the last three years or so was just to keep it in the news cycle/people's thoughts.

While that probably was partly the reason, it does seem after vague date promises and funding hopes, light at the end of the tunnel

....

As well as talking up affording prices and waxing lyrical about the power of cinema (I agree!) they slipped into this article - December 2027! As the reopening date.

Great news! The affordable revels and tickets even more so 😉. Hopefully their pricing will be more in line with what we had with VUE, which is sorely missed, value wise, screen picture quality and comfort.

I'm sure they'll have all sorts of ideas but maybe for the first month back have like super cheap tickets or something, to hook people back in...then after, a good rewards scheme/loyalty card a la Unlimited but better!

First and foremost, a city the size of Aberdeen can't be without ONE proper independent cinema....many smaller places have more than one.

I just hope, they cater to the cool diverse film palette they did before with little indies, foreign, cult and old classics, as well as what's new...As that's what will separate them from the two Cineworlds successfully.

What would you like to see from the cinema when it offers and what would entice you to be a regular?

Predictions: Which Of The 5 Locked Songs Contain These Instruments?

Photos taken during The Wow Signal sessions...

We haven't had proper piano in a track yet and it almost always appears at least once on a Muse record....so which song(s) do you think it will rear its head? I actually think ⚫🌲 will have a piano / guitar combo, not too dissimilar to "New Born" ....although, Space Debris could have some epic piano chords to take us home too!

What about the "Midnight Purple Beast" - Imma say, Sickness In You And I...

I think Shimmering Scars may be acoustic (Chris was photographed playing acoustic) and synth...not with Dom playing though 😉

Thoughts?

Anyone Clock The Name Of The Diner....

The way Matt has been talking about the music for this album being necessary and almost a kind of therapy for him....

He's clearly come through some tough times and hardships, of some we know little of...

The "12 steps" being commonly in step with rehab, it feels like this album has been the rehab he needed at this point in his life....we hear that in the music/lyrics and i'm sure the darkest song hasn't been heard yet... "Space Debris".

Nightshift Superstar video reference.
