For example the email says it comes from CASINO FOR YOU, but the actual email address is something like cloudnoify_99@randomgobbledygook.com

I’ll get the same spam multiple times per week, with same From name, but multiple random garbage email addresses.

This was working at least a week ago

I've done an uninstall / reinstall (PS first LrC second) which is suggested as a way to fix the connection between the two

I can open a single image for edit in PS, but trying to open multiple images as layers seems to break PS - it hangs and then you can't do anything other than force quit PS

Windows 11 / Nvidia Geforce 4060 Ti - all latest updates installed

Edit - rolling back from 27.10 to 27.9.1 appears to fix the issue - so it would appear to be an issue with the latest update

Something changed recently and images pulled into PS from LrC were suddenly more vibrant . colourful in PS.

Ran through the all the usual colourspace / monitor calibration checks and couldn't see what was causing the issue.

Turns out somehow the "Use Graphics Processor" check box in the Performance tab was the culprit. Turning this off seems to have fixed everything. I'm pretty sure it was off before and had mysteriously been set to Use.

So now I'm curious

1. why would this cause the problem in the first place (Nvidia Geforece RTX 4060 Ti)?
2. what might have caused it to be changed without my knowledge?

Anyway all's well now, but I'll never get the couple of hours of sleuthing back!

How do I get these things to stay /stick on the black bar in Library and Develop module (LrC).

For some reason they were always present and are super useful to filter large shoots with multiple themes. However recently they disappeared and I can't figure out how to get them to stay stuck to the black bar when opening and closing LrC. I know I can force them on there by clicking on the equivalent options on the Attribute bar in the library module, but I have to do this everytime - which was not the case before.

I've tried saving them as a named preset, but this still doesn't retain the options after reopening or swapping catalogues.

BTW what is that black bar actually called?

Thinking of picking up a Bass Pod XT for headphone use into my audio interface and maybe record on something like Audacity. Nothing fancy, just my lines playing along to music.

I’m happy with using whatever the factory settings were and the on board controls - do the things work independently of the online registration stuff that is now no longer supported (Line 6 Monkey etc)?

When picking one up on eBay is there anything I should he looking out for that might be a problem?

This was a document with multiple layers but nothing too fancy - just flyer for a band's upcoming tour (text / image / logo)

My Windows 11 machine crashed just as I am at the export stage and when I reopened the file, this is how the file looks now.

Any idea why I can't recover the file or go back to an earlier version in the history?

I’ve one of the first versions of the Junior Jet Bass (the one with the single TV Jones designed pickups - not the v2 with two pickups).

Does anyone know what the optimal pick up to string distance is?

I'm currently on 1.5 having not got round to updating with the last (1.6) update.

Having had a quick look at the release notes a couple of things caught my eye.

The password thing in 1.6. How does it work?

The improved AF tracking on 70-200 f/2.8 Z. Is it a noticeable improvement?

The ability to pick 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz band. Is there a substantial / noticeable change in transfer speeds when on 5 GHz?

Are there any other major improvements that I'm missing jumpring from 1.5 to 1.7 othere than the usual list of bug and system stability fixes they mention.
