School lunch box

Ideas what you put in your primary school aged children’s lunch box when they are fussy eaters.

Currently i send her with a sandwich, portion of fruit and Sml packet of crisps.

At home she would eat this with encouragement from a parent but left to her own choice she is not.

Most days she returns with at least half her food if not more uneaten. She’s determined she hates sandwiches in her lunch box no matter the filling, I have tried sausage rolls but only the pastry is eaten no sausage so just seems a big waste of food and money. Tried crackers they were returned uneaten she said it was too dry. Stuck for ideas.

Momcozy baby carrier

Has anyone tried the momcozy baby carrier?
What size would you say it fits?
When I have seen the pictures online the straps look long but I am a UK 26-28 so unsure if it will fit.

VBAC vs C-section what’s your experience?

I had an awful recovery after my first c-section wound infection led to a month of IV antibiotics and nearly 4 months of wound dressing. Safe to say I am nervous to have another! Even though in my first the electric PICO dressing WAS NOT recommended and I am assured this would help and reduce infection risk.
Although section seems to be the main route pushed by Drs when your plus size I am terrified of the potential complications that follow. However also nervous for a VBAC ending in an emergency situation!

Have people had many positive or negative VBAC experiences as a plus size women?

Plus size baby carrier UK

Has anyone found a good baby carrier / baby wrap that fits a plus size parent. Pre-baby I wear a UK size 26-28 and finding it impossible to find anything at all.
Last time I gave up searching for one but this baby will also have a 5YO so I feel will be needed!

What’s my best option please.

Currently I have around 30Kish in debt mainly in personal loans and credit cards built up when my husband lost his job just trying to survive as a family we have 1 child.

Now we both have jobs but struggle to have anything left over and end up relying on more credit for unexpected expenses. We only have a disposable income of around £300 a month after all bills, food, fuel so feeling impossible to pay this all down. We have no missed payments or defaults but it’s feeling more difficult to keep this all up.

We own a home but have lived in it only a little over 5 years so it doesn’t have enough equity % to remortgage to help the situation.

Each roughly has a 11% interest rate.

11k loan
5k loan
6k loan
6k loan
Around 3K across 2 credit cards.

What would you do?

I knew using iPads in class was a thing for older children but was genuinely quite shocked this week to learn my 4 year old is using an iPad in the school day to play games to ‘enhance learning’.

What’s your opinion. Should technology be so heavily relied upon for education?

My kid does watch tv and is not by any means a no screen time child but feels so lazy of the school system to have 4 year olds self teaching for periods of the day from iPads.
