I’ve gotten this question a lot lately, so I wanted to put it out there for anyone who didn’t know.

If you already own a working Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP, you can send it in and have it upgraded instead of buying another donor console.

You can customize things like the screen, battery, shell, buttons, audio, USB-C charging, custom artwork, and more depending on the system.

And if your console is working, you’ll also get a $40 credit toward the build.

So if you’ve got your childhood Game Boy sitting in a drawer and have been thinking about giving it a second life, this is absolutely an option.

I’ve been getting a lot of requests for the GBM lately and I’m quite enjoying the modding process. I’ve successfully repaired a torn start/select ribbon cable, charging issues (EM8 issues) and then the simple stuff like new displays, batteries and USBC charging upgrades.

Do you have a Gameboy Micro? How do you like it?

It's true - it's my fave GBA game and making a FFTA themed GBA in its honor never gets old! 🤩

Some people love this look: a retro handheld mod in the aesthetic of a retro console. Like this SNES themed GBA. I've also come across the other camp who thinks this is stupid. Which camp are you?

Have you ever seen the Chinese Holographic 0407/07 Cubone PTCG art card? Well ... if you haven't, you're in for a treat! I don't have it my TCG collection, but I still wanted to have something LIKE it. So, I made a custom themed GBA SP instead! 🦴

I've always preferred Zero Mission over the other GBA Metroids. But, I know there are LOTS of opinions on this so I'd like to know which Metroid game you prefer on GBA? 🤔

PS - I don't have the physical cart for Zero Mission (my fave!) so excuse the Pokemon game with the Metroid theme 😆

Aria of Sorrow is THE best Castlevania game on the GBA so I wanted to pay special tribute to it. The details matter, so the carrying case was made to look like a casket ⚰️
