I lost my cat today. Can someone tell me what the putting down process looks like so I have an idea about how she was prepared?

Today my cat Jeannette was put down. She was 14 years old and died to both old and and organ failure. We had her sedated via IV because we didn’t want her to be in any pain. We were with her when she passed and tried to make it as comfortable as possible

• Species: Cat
• Age: 14
• Sex/Neuter status: Female
• Breed: Tortie
• Your general location: Missouri

Edit: pictures for anyone that wants to see my sweet girl

Memorial to my precious girl, Jeannette

She passed away today at around 9:30am. She was 6 when we got her and 14 when she passed today. She was surrounded by lots of love in her final moments and with her taco toy

Yea TADC had it’s drama, every fandom does, but holy [SPLAT] the spike in it recently is ungodly. I’m genuinely ashamed to be here. I was so [SQUEAK]ing proud that Glitch managed to get the finale in theaters almost worldwide. I mean that’s insane, to go from a small indie animation made on a whim to loved worldwide but now it’s [BOINK]ing exhausting. Everyone is screaming about [SPLAT] for no [PLOINK]ing reason like a bunch of ungrateful toddlers. All of you should be ashamed (not directed towards those that are just here for the show. Directed towards those contributing with gossip)
