How’s my breakfast?
Coffee (with French vanilla creamer, no added sugar), plain greek yogurt with granola, blueberries, and a drizzle of pure maple syrup.

Hoping this is okay to post here.
I’m female, 5’5”, and 171 lbs (down from 186 lbs). I want to eat healthy, whole foods, and eventually get down to 150-160 lbs range before I start building muscle. The weight that I’ve lost so far has been a result of switching to multiple small meals a day, instead of two to three large ones, but they aren’t always the healthiest.
Here’s the catch, I’ve recently been diagnosed with GERD, which is what initiated the change, but also means my options are severely limited now. I cannot have alliums like garlic and onion, hot spices (or even black pepper), acids, heavy fats (so most cheeses), pork, anything fried in oil, or simple carbs. Most sauces are a no go, because they are acidic or contain alliums. I also can’t stomach fish, and I’m allergic to shellfish. (I know, what CAN I eat?) Oh, and I have a limited food budget.
So far, what I’ve found to work well with me are egg whites, potatoes (a real staple now), most veggies aside from the ones that cause gas buildup (broccoli, Brussels sprouts, etc), cottage cheese, lean ground chicken or turkey, lean beef, chicken breast, bananas, watermelon, and cantaloupe.
I’ve been living on hard boiled egg whites, bananas, watermelon cubes, and meal prep pot roast made with unsalted beef broth and a few safe spices (rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, ginger). I can also use low sodium soy sauce, and coconut aminos.
I’m really looking for tips on losing and maintaining a healthy weight, along with some recipes that can help me with variety and putting flavor back into my life. If anyone can help, I’d greatly appreciate it.
I just started playing Palia and I LOVE this game. Yesterday, however, more than a few times, I would get stuck in a dialogue or in the inventory screen and I could not exit, no matter what button I pressed. I had to close the game and restart. Has this happened to anyone else playing on PS5 recently?
Idk if it’s just me, but I don’t think pets should take up a whole household slot when they don’t actually do anything. Like, I can only have 8 sims in one household, and I gotta use up a whole slot for the cat?
When dad is a Grimm Reaper (and also runs a cult) but he’s also teaching you to say please and thank you.
(I joined the Reaper career specifically for this robe unlock. Also, other dad is a mortician for the outfit as well.)
I love Celeste Capp so much, but I didn’t want to change her design, so I made her a twin brother. He’s so cute~
Super proud of these wedding shots I managed to snap during the ceremony~
Genuine question, I hear a lot about bugs and glitches, but I know a ton of players use mods. I don’t use mods, cheats, or even CC (not that I’m against them, I just don’t think my poor pc can handle that), and I hardly ever see a bug in my saves. Are there other vanilla players that see a lot of bugs? Or is it like, more mods = more bugs?
(Pic for tax of my cult leader sim Azriel getting to know Layne and his new bride)
Finally got in to see the cardiologist and start taking all the tests. I’m managing the best I can without meds at least for another six weeks until my follow up appointment. I’m looking into compression wear, and I know socks are an option. But when I try to look for abdominal compression wear, all that comes up is shapewear. Will that serve the same purpose? And if not, what are good socks, and otherwise, that you all have used?
Getting enough sodium is hard for me, as I had a low sodium diet before. And I’d love to have pickles, but they give me major heartburn. And suggestions?
ETA: I’m not talking drinks. I’ve got my pedialyte and Liquid IV covered.
