Genesis Dealers in Central Florida

I do not know if this is the proper sub to discuss deales - if not, please let me know where I should go for that. If it is OK, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the dealers in Central Florida. We have a few, including

Genesis of North Orlando (Winter Park),

Headquarter Genesis (Sanford, FL),

Jenkins Genesis of Leesburg (Leesburg),

Genesis of Central Florida (Clermont) and

Genesis of Daytona Beach.

The dealers in Winter Park (Genesis of North Orlando) and Sanford, FL (Headquarters Genesis) are closest to me but the others would do for sales. I would prefer Winter Park and Sanford for service. I would prefer a separate and stand alone Genesis dealer and I believe the Winter Park store has it's own building but is on the same property as the Hyundai Dealer so I am not sure how much overlap there is between the two offices.

So does anyone have any experience with any of these dealerships for either sales or service or both? Any thoughts on your experiences, good or bad, with any of these dealers would be appreciated. And last, if this needs to go somewhere else, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Data Usage - Mint doesn't agree with Phone

Hi all.

First, sorry for the long post but I feel spelling this out might be helpful. If not let me know. New to Mint having activated on June 20th from t-Mobile. So far everything is good except.....I opted for a limited data plan of 17GB per month. With T-Mobile I never used more than 10GB a month and that was using CarPlay and streaming audio while working out and on the rare occasions that the wifi went out at home.

So I went into the Mint app to see what my data usage is and I saw 11.2/17. Meaning, I guess, I have used about 6GB in just 5 days. I then checked my iPhone running iOS 26 to see how much data it showed I used and it showed I used 2.3GB in those 5 days (I had reset my data usage stats when I activated Mint to keep track of the data). So something is off here.

I called Mint customer support to see if I could find in my account a detailed or daily breakdown of my data usage. The guy in CS, while very nice, didn't really know what he was talking about (I had also asked a question about my first renewal and he said I would have to get a new number to get the discount I have during the trial period - ok).

He said there was nowhere I could go in my account (app or online) to see any detail about my data usage. Further, he could not explain why the data usage shown in my phone's settings was so different than what the Mint app showed. BTW, he had recommended I check my phone's data usage in settings. He then said the Mint system didn't show any problems with measuring data but he offered to escalate the issue with some 2nd level of tech support.

So, is this unusual for Mint to misread data? Is it a ploy to get someone to go to the unlimited plan? Is there a place to see the data usage as read by Mint? If this keeps up I will use more data in the 4 weeks (according to Mint) than at any time in the last 10 years. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

General question about porting to Mint

Hi all. I am currently on T-Mobile and get great reception in my area. For many many years I had two lines for about $70. But I recently had to cancel one line. When I did that, the T-Mobile CSR said the best they could do for me for my remaining line was $70. So after a month of that, I am considering going to Mint. I think I get the porting process (I have all the needed info from the T-Life app) but Mint says don't cancel your current cell account (T-Mo) when you port over to Mint. I suppose that is just in case I don't like Mint and want to go back to T-Mo? If that were to happen, would I just get the port info from Mint to go back to T-Mobile? Kind of nervous to try to do this. Thanks for any thoughts.

How is the Air Conditioning in the late model year Optiq (2025-2026)

I'm interested in the Lyriq or the Optiq (I cross posted this question is both subs). I've not decided yet. Since I live in central Florida (Orlando area), I am concerned about the AC in either car. I've seen isolated posts here and there about poor AC in the cabin due to the system having to cool both the cabin and battery. I need strong AC for the cabin. The short time in the vehicle during the test drive did not provide a real world experience with the AC. The salesman of course said the AC was fine. Any thoughts on the AC for either car would be appreciated. Thanks.
