Martha stewart symposium

Ok guys. Martha stewart is so incredibly gorgeous i caved and got the last one i saw. It also smells amazing! Its a rose that is suposed to have robust health and will keep blooming in heat. It also has 'peace' in its family lineage. Who else has the new 'martha' and how is she doing for you?

I made rose syrup!

It tastes fragrent and beautiful! Made from some purple rugosa roses. Now i can make all kinds of drinks. Like rose lemonade and cocktails. It can also be drizled over cake or icecream. Or used to sweeten tea.

My gym's flower bed grows portobello!

I walked out of the gym and saw mushrooms. Expecting xanthodermus i was pleasantly surprised after examining them to find actual Agaricus bisporus! I cleaned them up and cooked them and hands down best portobello ever!

Its so sad that being native ive never seen it in the wild. Always loved by hummingbirds. Id love to get another color of the plant.

They really filled the area of my little native bed. I need to add the seeds to other places. And amazingly the saw flies that tryed to kill them for several years are no longer an issue.
