How did conquerors integrate land? Specifically during the late medieval period?

I am specifically asking around the 1300s to 1500s, how did conquers integrate land once they took it by force in a war? How did they collect taxes, revenues, etc from newly conquered land, as well as enforce their laws and customs to ensure people did as they asked? You have gotten the Kingdom you fought against to stop protecting the land, but how long does it take to actually get the locals there to give you taxes, and how?

Can anyone help me troubleshoot my game? I have the 4gb mod, anticrash, and script extender. I tried changing the graphic settings.

When should you build market places?

Unlike other economy buildings, market places don't have a projected ducat income increase so its not easy to quantify. They also do not create value like other buildings, instead giving you a larger share of the trade node. When is it worth it to build them?

I love the great wave

I waited two weeks for the bugs to get fixed to start playing, and while i have had a decent amount of bugs that were infuriating, I LOVE THIS DLC.

This dlc is probably my second favorite, right after charters of commerce. The navies feel great, massive improvement over previous ones. It feels like they are actually impactful, with the orders you give them actually working. Marines feel great, naval landings and warfare in general feel a lot better than this. Tolls feel amazing, I love it, they are so much fun to use.

Interests feel so much better. My only two issues are landlocked cases, like Serbia not being able to get Russia to support their independence. The other being it takes too much fleet micro to get interests, its really annoying.

The game feels complete now, its nice, it finally feels good to me. Japanese content is amazing, i had a blast doing it. I like the fact that there is multiple branching paths, the unique companies are very interesting, and the scripted civil wars were extremely fun and suprising. Japan's content just feels a lot better and is a massive thumbs up.

My biggest issues are with the ai and bugs, but I am hoping those get fixed. I don't have really many complaints besides those, it feels great.

What if the allies glassed Russia after ww2?

What if after world war two, Churchill signed off on operation unthinkable. They then only used one nuke on hiroshima, and the other nuke on moscow. I came up with this idea from a well known streamer who suggested it recently.

Slavery tag suggestions

I really feel like enslaving some inferior races and I would love some tag suggestions. Ive played rosande, venail, the slavery dwarves, and Vandipha so far. Are there any other fun tags where I can put people to work?
