Are There Shrinking Donuts?

My Boston crème was barely bigger than my AirPod case. Is this the normal?

Patapsco State Park River Oddity Question

SOLVED: Bluegill spawning/nesting areas. Thanks for the TIL!

Anyone have any idea what causes these clear circular areas in the river. Saw hundreds of them above the dam in Daniel’s area. My best guess is either a) turtles feeding on the grasses or b) geese.

Where does it go?

Found this on the floor of the second row of my ‘24 OBW.

It appears to be a protective cap for the end of one of the seat tracks. I have looked at all 4 ends of both sets of seat track rails and none are missing and none seem to be this size.

I’m baffled as I’ve had the car for 2+ years. Am I missing something obvious? It’s been a while since I’ve had any service which has only been routine maintenance anyway. Could it have been under my driver seat all this time as an extra part?

WTH Marriott? Bait and Switch Tactics on Points Bookings or Tech Glitch or Me?

Trying to book a hotel in Rome for 3 nights in September with points. Used the app and desktop over multiple days to see if anything changed (it hasn't). Map and list search in both search experiences displays rates for 3 nights in required points, but then the point cost skyrockets when you view rates/select a room type.

Example: Pantheon Iconic is 343,500 points. St. Regis is 456,000. When you click on either, the actual points cost for the same 3 nights nearly doubles. The Patheon becomes 673,500 and the St. Regis becomes 731,000.

Called Marriott costumer service to ask if I was doing something wrong. The response was "Your process is correct. We're not IT. Nothing we can do about that." Then was told I could send an email to Marriott through their website form. Agent spoke to manager, too.

Anyone have a clue what's up?

EDIT/UPDATE: The Rome Edition hotel shows 402,000 points in the initial search display results AND upon click through. Seems to be a great hotel with high marks in the reviews. We've gone ahead and booked that option for our stay. Thanks to those who responded to my inquiry.
