I've recently broken into 800 elo and there is an increasing amount of this occurring. I'll make a move, I see the auto-resign timer begin and count 5-10 seconds then they'll come back and make a move immediately. It's 1 out of every 4 games now at least. Does this mean cheating or could something else be the cause? I searched on here and some guy said he goes to different tabs between moves, but these specifically wait until a 2-3 seconds after my move before the timer starts.
