Been playing the AGOT mod, and I am looking for additional mods to add to it. They can be AGOT focused or general mods to add to a list.

Also if there is a modlist you would recommend I would like to see those also.

Digimon Titan Format

 

A project inspired by Liberator webcomic and a post by u/cellescent

 

The Titan Format is a 1v(2-3) format designed to change up things for Players.

 

Challengers(2-3)

Decks utilized by the Challengers follow standard deck building rules. Challengers roll dice, or use other methods, to decide who goes first. The highest roll goes first, and then turns interchanged with the Titan going to the left of the starting player. The Titan takes their turns in between the Challengers with the last player that played before the Titan being designated the Vanguard player.

 

The Challengers do not share a Trash, have their own separate Breeding Areas, and each set 5 Security as normal.

The Challengers only have control over their own field during their turn, and cannot attack with the other Challengers Digimon. They also cannot utilize the effects of the other Challengers Digimon or Tamers. Challengers can utilize certain effects during the active Challengers turn.

 

Example

(Decoy)- if Challenger 1 has a Digimon that would be Deleted by the Titan’s effects Challenger 2 may use (Decoy) to protect Challenger’s 1 Digimon.

 

(Blocker)- if Challenger 2 is being attacked by the Titan, Challenger 1 may use one of their Digimon with (Blocker) to redirect the attack.

 

(Redirect Attack Effects)- Follow the same rule as (Blocker)

 

More Specific Example

 

BT25-056 Callismon

(All Turns)(Once Per Turn)- When effects play or Digivolve any Digimon, (De-Digivolve 1) one of your opponent’s Digimon. Then, this Digimon may battle one of your Opponent’s Digimon.

 

If Challenger 3 has this card in their Battle Area, and Challenger 2 Plays/Digivolves a Digimon by Effect, Callismon’s effect does not trigger. If the Titan uses an Effect to Play/Digivolve a Digimon during Challenger 2’s turn this will trigger Callismon’s effect. Each Challenger’s turn does count as a new Turn, and Callsimon can utilize its effect during each one.

 

 

 BT23-080 Yu Nogi

(All Turns) When any of your Digmon with the [CS] would be deleted, by returning this Tamer to the bottom of the deck, place 1 of those Digimon as the top security card.

 

If Challenger 3 has this Tamer in their Battle Area, and Challenger 2 has a [CS] trait Digimon that would be Deleted, Challenger 3 may Trigger this Tamer’s Effect. This Tamer would go to the Bottom of Challenger 3’s deck, and the Digimon would go to the top of Challenger 2’s Security.

 

 Face Up Security Effects.

Active Effects of Face Up Security cards only affect the Field of the Player who’s Security they are in.

 

 Titan

The namesake of the Format. The Titan Player follows a different build style. They utilize a 80 card deck, 8 Digi-Eggs, and start the game with a 7 card hand.

The Titan also sets Security of 5 cards for each Challenger.

 

2 Challengers= 10 Security

3 Challengers= 15 Security

(I believe this is a rule for debate for change)

 

The Titan player can only attack the Vanguard player.

The Titan’s effects that target a specific card can only target the Vanguard player’s Battle Area. Effects that state they affect the entire Battle Area affect all Challenger’s Battle Areas for the specified time period.

 

Effects that state,” until the end of your opponent’s turn” end at the end of the next Challenger’s turn.

 

Effects that state, “Then if your opponent has no X” would check all Challenger’s Battle Areas.

 

Effects that affect your opponent’s Trash, can only target the Vanguard player’s Trash.

 

Examples.

 

BT25-075 Vulcanusmon

(On Play)(When Digivolving) You may Link up to 2 cards from your hand or trash to any of your Digimon without paying the cost. Then, for each of your link cards, [De-Digivolve 1] all of your opponent’s Digimon.

 

If the Titan uses this effect it would [De-Digivolve] all Challenger’s Digimon.

BT21-098 Ragnarok Cannon

(Your Turn) When one of your Galactimon attacks [Delay] Delete 1 of your opponent’s Digimon with the lowest play cost. If this effect didn’t delete, trash the top card of your opponent’s security stack so that it has 1 card left.

 

If the Titan utilizes this effect the, “Delete 1 of your opponent’s Digimon with the lowest play cost” can only target the Vanguard player’s Digimon. Then the Security Trashing effect can also only affect the Vanguard player’s Security.

 

BT18-085 Zanbamon

(Your Turn) For every 2 colors in your opponent’s trash this Digimon gains [Security A +1] and gets +2000 DP.

 

This accounts for every Challenger’s Trash.

 

BT24-017 Medusamon

(When Digivolving) Delete 1 of your opponent’s Digimon. Then by returning 2 cards from their trash to the bottom of the deck they play 2 {Petrification} Tokens. After this Digimon gets +2000 DP for each of your opponent’s Digimon.

 

If utilized by the Titan.

The Delete effect would have to target the Vanguard player’s Battle Area, and then they would have to return 2 cards from Vangaurd player’s Trash to Play the Tokens. The Tokens would also be played to the Vanguard player’s Battle Area.

 The +2000DP effect would take into account all of the Challenger’s Battle Areas.

 (Alternative to be discussed among the community) While the Vanguard’s Trash would still need to be the target for the returned cards. It could be that the Tokens can be played to other Challenger’s Battle Areas. Only 2 Tokens can still be played, but they can both be played to the same Challenger’s Battle Area, or split between two different Challengers.

 

 Winning.

The game is won, by the Challengers, when the Titan is defeated by the standard ways, or when the Titan defeats the last Challenger. If one Challenger runs out of cards to Draw, that Challenger is out of the game, but the other Challengers remain.

 

 (Rule for discussion by Community)

If a Challenger is removed, while others remain, any cards on their Battle Area and in their Trash remain. Any Digimon, or Tamers remaining on the Field from a defeated Challenger may now be utilized by the remaining Challengers, but only for Attacking, Blocking, and Effects that could be Triggered. These Digimon, and Tamers, cannot Digivolve, and are still accounted for by the Titan for respective effects.

 

 Ban List

It goes without saying that this format’s uniqueness would require its own banlist to account for it. I also believe that the ban list should be specific to Challengers and Titans differently.

 Examples

 BT21-098 Ragnarok Cannon and BT23-102 Mastemon

Should not be used by the Challengers as these cards outright remove the challenge of the Titan, and defeat the purpose of the format.

 

But, Ragnarok Cannon can still be used by the Titan since it targets a single player, and the other Challengers can help protect each other.

 

 (Final Note and Thoughts)

 It must be understood that this Format is not for competitive play by design. This is an odd format design for cooperative play, and lopsided exchanges between players and a Titan boss. With that I believe that a certain spirit has to be followed for this format to be enjoyable for all players in it.

 

With the current state of the actual game, filled with Omni Protection and Turn 2 OTKs, starting to grate on the community's nerves I believe that finding alternative formats to enjoy the TCG should be explored. While Bandai’s card designs, and Ban List tendencies, are not too many’s liking it must still be noted that this format was based off of a theoretical one from the Liberator comic/novel.

 

By expressing new ways to play, and spreading it so that Bandai can see what the community really wants, they may begin to change things, and find alternatives to the future of the TCG besides simple powercreep.

 

And if not, the community itself can find ways to counter the powercreep our own way while still enjoying the TCG we are spending our time and money on.

Some scans that are avoiding me. Started as Mipedian.

Iparu Jungle, needed for a quest, but haven't had much luck finding it.

Mipedim Valley, interested in getting all of the Mipedian related locations, but I don't see any connecting areas.

The whole idea of the Assimilated was both neat, and creepy, but through the original run we only saw 4 Assimilated creatures.

I feel that they could've used it for creatures that were kind of one off in their appearances. Originally they made new creatures, and then Assimilated versions in the same set, but they could've also made Assimilated versions of older creatures as well.

They eventually even made a cured version of Kolmo, so they also could do that to make more retrains as well.

Something to think about anyway.

So we know how (in)famous 4KIDZ was for censorship and "localization" and that no doubt affected the writers for the show, and probably the card lore.

So now that is something they don't have on them anymore do you think it will affect stories in the future?

If they just continue the show from where they left off, rebooted it, or did a new story altogether what do you think we could see?

I have been using this tub with airholes, but I would like to upgrade to something more comfortable, and easier to carry.

Any suggestions?

When the Hiatus happened they were in the middle of several things, and had been leaking stuff to come, before it got the plug pulled.

So I was wondering do you think they will pick up right where they left off, do you think it will be a "decade or two later situation", or will they do a soft reboot of things?

Just something I was wondering about, and I didn't really see anything that suggested what was going to happen.

What the title says my Monster just requested to fight in one, Next Week, but I remember that there isn't one next week when I checked the schedule.

What to do?
