WLG detected in Vampire Game

I came across this post in two subreddits dedicated to dark urban horror tabletop games. The author lists a bunch of books as suggested reading to help game runners come up with interesting antagonists in the form of vampire hunters.

Book number three is The Turner Diaries. Both posts have been removed by moderators, but until they were OP was arguing that everyone opposed to the book's inclusion were being pussies, that it's just a book and cannot hurt you, that it's actually a really good set of instructions on how to be a terrorist.

Which is the kind of vampire hunter they're encouraging game runners to make, I guess?

It's weird, figured it'd fit here.

V5 Book Recommendations?

I'm looking to run a V5 game for some friends. I'm a veteran of tabletop games, but this will be my first time running V5. Normally I sketch out a setting and wing it with improv, but I'm worried that may not cut the vampiric mustard. The Crimson Gutter book looks like something I could use to run a solid chronicle, but there aren't many reviews for it - does it work as advertised? Is it a good introductory chronicle for a mixed group of newbie players and veterans? Are there any other V5 books I absolutely need to pick up?

I've currently got the Vampire core book and the player's guide. I've also got the V5 Werewolf core book, and I'm seriously considering picking up Second Inquisition because I feel hunters would be a great perpetual threat/antagonist for my players to contend with.

Comparative Analysis of Boffer LARP rules?

I've been working on a game off and on for a few years - it's a solo effort for the moment, so I put what time I can into it. I've been writing it with the assumption that I'd be re-using the rules from a game I played before, but as time has gone on, I've begun to wonder if I should try and build a new ruleset. But to do that, I want to examine other rules systems and take them apart.

Does anyone here know of a comparative analysis of Boffer LARP rules? Not just combat rules, but non-combat stuff, too, like crafting and social mechanics? Or, barring that, maybe a forum or subreddit that discusses the subject matter, if this one isn't?

Images from SEGA while working on Golden Axe 2

The last picture, in particular, feels cyberpunk to me. All the big monitors and cables strung haphazardly across the workspace.

Ideas for a sailing ship?

The D&D group I play in just got to a point where we may have some sea travel and adventures. I have a lot of LEGO, and I wanted to try and come up with a ship we could use for a 3D battle map. I've got the big chunky hull components for the Imperial Flagship 6271-1, and I was wondering if anyone's done anything with it.

I have enough parts to just rebuild the original set, but with all the other stuff built atop it, I don't know if it'd be big enough to act as a battle map. I'm looking for something a bit stripped down with big plates to help extend the relatively narrow navigable dimensions.

[TOMT][SONG][2020s] Song about stray dogs in Cuba

I remember a lot of the lyrics to this song, but my best efforts at searching for lyrics online have turned up nothing but articles about actual stray dogs. It's sung by a woman, has a Latin samba-esque beat, and I think I heard it on NPR about 3 years ago.

Opening of the first verse:

"Canella, she's the color of cinnamon

She was given her name by a girl at the Prado cafe"

Opening of the second verse:

"Manolo, he's a fiery chihuahua

He was given his name by the old man who fixes up shoes."

Part of the chorus:

"The stray dogs of San [something] Cuba

They'll follow you all afternoon and they won't ask for much"

The breakdown/climax of the song:

"Canella,

Manolo,

the girl at the Prado cafe,

and the old man who fixes up shoes,

And the writer with paper and pen,

trying to put them all into this song

All they want

All they want is just to belong to someone
