I live in the US and have access to a microcenter. It will be for gaming, and my budget is hard capped at $1400. I already have peripherals

I am giving away my old pc, that has been sitting in my closet, to a friend so he can do simple work on it. No heavy duty cpu tasks like video editing or that type of stuff, just simple surf the internet type of things. The problem is that I know that the PSU is at the end of it's lifespan (it's 14 years old). I think the reason why it lasted so long is that it is an 800w psu, but the build only needed around 550w (It's has a 1070ti).
What is a cheap psu i can replace for it?
I’m looking for the best PC build for gaming, PCVR, VR streaming, 3D medical image visualization/modeling, light CAD work, and potentially some VR development. I’m located in the US and would appreciate recommendations focused on performance, stability, and future upgradability.
Budget is between $3000-$4000. The cheaper the better.
I already have the peripherals and do not live by a microcenter
There was a webnovel i read a few years ago. The mc is a transmigrator who went into a game(or novel). However the plot of the game/novel starts off with a heroine who transmigrated from a game/novel.
Indont remember the plot all that well except that. All I k ow was thay the mc was from the novel or game and the heroine was the other.
I built a new gaming pc recently and sometimes I keep hearing the disconnect and reconnect usb sound. When it happens, it's constantly doing it. I checked my device manager, right clicked every usb hub, went to properties and tried turning off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" from the power management tab. It still does not work.
EDIT
I have no idea how to replicate it. It just happens randomly. It could start a few hours after my pc is turned on, or a few minutes. It fixes itself after resetting my pc
THIS IS A THOUGHT EXPERIMENT.
Should a mangaka's work be permanently deleted if they did this? Even if it was only a few times decades ago? NSFW means anything from nudity to explicit content
I will add more to this after a few replies. I want to see where the line is drawn
I've had my pc for about 2 weeks now. It works great, but I have been looking up how to optimize my build. All my drivers are updated. When I checked my bios version, im at an 0816 (released in 10/29/2024), while the most recent STABLE update is version 1654 (released in 04/27/2026).
I've never really flashed my bios before so im a bit scared. What are the benefits to this?
My motherboard is an Asus Rog Strix b850-A Gaming Wifi
I downloaded the L Connect 3 software and changed the screen to a custom theme for my Hydroshift II LCD-S. However when i restart my computer, it swaps back to the default and I can no longer change it to the custom theme i saved. I tried to reinstall L connect 3, and it the same thing happened. I restart, and it resets to default and i cannot change it
My Hydroshift 2 LCD-S no longer displays my custom theme. It worked fine for about 2 days and now it went back to the default theme. I have the "Screen Advance Mode" turned on
I built my first gaming PC 14 years ago. Just wanted to share my progression
GTX 660Ti
GTX 1070Ti
Radeon RX 9070 XT
I've never used this software before. When I try to pair my fans automatically, all my fans say this except my GPU fans.
My motherboard is an ASUS ROG STRIX B850-A
Fans
Lian Li UNI Fan SL-Infinity Wireless 140mm (Rear Exhaust fan)
Lian Li UNI Fan SL Wireless (Reverse Blade) 120mm ARGB Fan (Triple fan. Bottom intake)
2 170mm Lian Li Lancool 217 inf Stock fans (Front Intake. Stock fan)
3 120mm fans that came with my Lian Li Hydroshift 2 LCD-S 360TL AIO cooler.
I've have already tried turning on the MB RPM Sync on the L-Connect 3 software
Its finally done. Sorry it looks boring, but I dont have the skills to make custom themes for the screens
How long does it take to make a bootable drive for windows? I've been sitting on "Getting a few things ready" for like 20 minutes
I just put together my new PC.

And I turned it on to test it. I have 9 fans. 2 front fans that came with the case, 3 fans for my radiator on my AIO, 1 fan on the back and 3 bottom fans. My 3 bottom fans are daisy chained, and this is the one I have issues with. I turn on my PC and it all my fans turn on, however, my 3 bottom fans turn off immediately after. The RGB is still on though. I have tried to use different fan headers and different sata connectors. All the other fans work perfectly, just not this one.
My idea was to go to the bios to see if it was a bios issue, however, my graphics card isnt working either. I plugged in my monitor, display port, and nothing. The GPU fans do not turn on either. My psu is providing power because my strimmers are glowing (I took the strimmers out and plugged the PSU directly into the GPU.
