Any good side hustle ideas for couples right now?

My bf and I both work full time, but we’ve been wanting to start something on the side to make extra income instead of just relying on our main jobs (we did amazon kdp and having a hard time with sales)

The thing is, we’re pretty different. He’s more into online/tech-related stuff, while I’m more hands-on and creative. We’re both busy, but we’re willing to put in effort if it’s something actually worth building over time

Curious what people are doing right now that’s realistically profitable or growing. Could be online, service-based, creative, local, anything honestly.

Would love to hear ideas, experiences, or things you’ve seen work lately !

Close to my 100 goal

30F.
I have been savings for a couple of years now and only learned to invest last year, so far I have the following:

22K wealthsimple non reg: ETFs and my highest shares are with Nvidia, CNQ, XEQT

With CIBC (I was scared to invest on my own so I asked them to manage my portfolio)
- TFSA is around 31K (already maxed)
- FHSA maxed 8k
- Non Registered 17k (low risk)
- Savings 14k (Emergency fund)

Not sure if I should keep my investments with CIBC, so far my TFSA grew 4K since I opened last year. The rest are pretty slow.

My accountant told me to open an RRSP but I haven’t studied it yet, earning 70k at the moment.

My BF and I would like get our own place 2-3 years from now, and possibly create a small business this year while keeping our full time jobs.

He earns 90K per year and we would like to open a joint account soon for a small business/investing/travelling/etc. How much do you think we should put and should it be in a savings account or investments?

Any advice would be appreciated!

How do you guys manage side gigs or parttime jobs?

To those working in creative esp in Canada, how do you balance your full time // personal projects, freelance, side gigs or even a part time job?

Ive been thinking about getting a second source of income because everything is getting so expensive and I want to earn more without completely burning myself out. At the same time, creative jobs can already be mentally draining, long hours, etc so curious how other people manage it

Do you still have time and energy for your own work after your 9 to 5? Does having a side job affect your performance at your main job or your creativity overall?

Would really appreciate hearing how you structure your schedule, what kind of side work you do, and any advice or tips that helped you make it sustainable
