Should I get a TCL 55 QM5K or stick with my Roku Select Plus with Mini-LED?

I’m not happy with the picture quality of my Roku Plus even though it is Mini-LED. However the sound quality is pretty good and that is the main benefit I keep seeing from reviews of that TV and the interface is simple which I like but not a deal breaker. On the other hand I heard the TCL QM5K has good picture quality for the price, but that the audio quality is lacking, but I suppose I can always get a sound bar but that’s more $$ and wonder if it’s worth it for the picture quality alone?

Horizontal and vertical lines on brand new Roku Select Plus 55 inch TV is it defective?

The lines look more prominent in person than the pictures. I tired a hard reset and the issue was still there. I am guessing the TV is defective. I luckily got it off Amazon and they made the return easy, but I’m debating now whether I should get a replacement or a different TV all together like a Samsung. My parents never had issues with those. I just don’t want to spend too much money :/

Getting my first light whip, should I get 5.5 ft or 7 ft?

I’m new to light whipping and I’m thinking of getting the ants in a melon one since I’ve heard good things about those, but I have no idea what length to get and it seems they have two options 5.5 and 7 feet. I also about 5 feet 7 inches tall. And I am thinking of getting the 200 fiber non-sparkle option as it seems like the most versatile and longer lasting for a beginner.

Thanks for any advice in advance!

Help with furniture placement in my studio where should I put my TV?

Couches are expensive, so I am thinking of turning my twin bed into a couch by getting a headboard pillow (very last photo) and positioning my tv stand in front of it. However I wonder if that layout will look odd?

Conflicted if I should give this note to myneighbor

Are notes to neighbors usually well received? Should I go to the leasing office if they are not responsive to the note? Or should I do nothing as to not piss them off? My health is depreciating due to waking up at 3:30am everyday to their heavy footsteps that I can hear and feel. I can even hear their water faucet running and everything else but that’s not their fault, it’s the construction. The footsteps bother me the most and I feel like they can be remedied.
