I’ve been making a build with maxed out archetypes
Ancient elf free archetype and adopted human with multi talented I’ve got exemplar commander and I’m trying to figure out a third that would be useful purely from the archetype feat itself because I’m tossing the rest into exemplar for the bonus HP
What it says on the tin can you use defensive swap on minions, summons,companions or thralls? When I was going through the foundry, it specifies creatures that move of their own volition it’s like an extra thing on the bottom, which makes me think maybe there’s something I’m missing like an interview or something that changed it a little that isn’t actually on the rule
I’ve never actually done any of this I just kind of hang around the story part of things I was kind of wondering how do you play the Kraken? Like mechanically, what do you do what you go for when building an army? What tips would you recommend for a newcomer building an army of dark Krakens
(before anyone says anything I am aware of how much of a money sink this hobby is I do know that there’s easier factions to start with and I love strategy games with ridiculous difficulty that take hours and hours to actually play and of course I like painting minis a lot)
I got a concept I feel could be fun It’s a necromancer artist with the blood fascination and the bone fascination the idea being they’re medium is their thralls and familiar to create genuine, functional art artworks that last barely any time at all of course being made in the form of functional monsters never before seen but I can’t think of a way to really anchor them to the adventure like why would they go and do things in a adventures guild? Why not just be a madman in a shack other than money, of course with his performance score he could easily make a living so I’m kind of drawing blanks
Edit I should mention I am trying to avoid revenge stuff if at all possible, I’ve already got a guy doing that whole beat and was recommended. I do something else by my DM, which is fair. I made that mistake once before. I am rather bad at the rage filled types Somehow I got one to work and I’m going to quit while I’m ahead
In terms of books that is I’m trying to get more into the lore of the dark Krakens and I was wondering where I could go to read more about them. I checked the wiki page, but those can be pretty out of date so I figured I would ask around here
I’ve been seeing the term thrown around a lot without any further description, and I’ve come to realize I don’t think I understand what it means in TTRPG’s like at all the main thing that comes to mine for me is party roles but I know that’s not what they’re talking about it feels more like what is the class meant to do but I’m really unsure about that
I was running around an old boxes and found some drives one of which has CIA files instead of the usual movies and DVDs but this one I found all the files say CIA instead of the usual file types, but the names unlike half of them sound like how we labeled our movies Some guy redirected me here when I was asking about a video player for these but didn’t elaborate

I was rummaging through a bunch of DVDs, VHS and stuff and I found a couple of drives with mostly a bunch of the same and a few of our home movies but then I found this one that’s labeled like a show? but all the files CIA instead of the usual file types I’ve never heard of this but I assume it’s just some weird video type. I’ve never heard of and I was wondering if there were anything that could play them so far I haven’t had any luck just random nonsense about the C.I.A I wasn’t sure where to go. I figured I might as well try here.
Edit: found out what it is got it working. I have more questions now than before mainly being who got a hold of this thing three years ago and decided to add more movies in the same file format as videos from over 10 years ago but as long as it works who cares?
Im a new member to this group that’s been playing together for like seven years now there’s something odd I’ve noticed that feels a little weird to bring up just cause of like the vibe. You see whatever I try to use aid or guidance or anything that like bumps up a skill check for somebody. they give me that brush them off treatment. You typically do when your friend says something a kind of fucked up and it takes them a second to catch up and don’t want to address it directly and they then typically ignore it unless I directly address them in particular and like make it extremely direct
Is there some unspoken rule or something that I’m missing cause I’ve looked around I can’t find anything about this. It feels real weird to ask just because the way they react makes it feel like I shouldn’t bring it up and I’m just not sure what to do normally, I would just ask but this feels off
A friend of a friend is DMing for this group we all hang out with and I found out they’re running a premade module as it is the DMs first time I wanted to do something nice as a gift and make them some model buildings and set pieces maybe a couple of the characters (I’m not the best at people) but I have no idea which one it is or what would be useful. I just have sort of secondhand information because I was not paying attention at all while they were running this in the back.
I know their lv1 adventures who just arrived in a small town with a guild board with a few quests one had them going to investigate a Mystic wood that had rumors of a newly discovered ancient cities ruins
The other quest, the one that they did first had them going to investigate this ruined temple dwarfs found for them they found a pair of dwarfs sitting in the cave who warned them that there was a slime in there after killing one slime that got split in half and then a second whole slime they continued on and found out the temple was a temple of Abbathor ** **
Me and my friends are on foundry and I was checking my weapons after an update and saw two different slots with a +15 and +12 that says thrown but as far as I knew the attack was supposed to be the same nothing I saw said it should be different?
Sorry if this doesn’t make sense im having trouble explaining this
I need help and I’ve been rattling my brain for like the past three days and have drawn nothing but blanks. Most other fantasy creatures have a general vibe for from which I can pull some name that fits like kobolds you could name after a plant or a rock or a food product something weird and creature like and it’s fine makes perfect sense elves and dragons. Something grandiose with an apostrophe that’s a little hard to pronounce but Centaurs I’ve got nothing except for Greek and Roman legends of which both have the exact same guy. The rest of them are nameless. If it at all makes a difference I’m kind of going for a knight old man (mid to late 40’s)
Help me, Pathfinder community You’re my only hope
I’ve been going through a lot of builds trying to find something I like and I’ve noticed that for some reason gunslingers seem to have an extra +2 attached to their weapons proficiency at least that’s what I see at level 6 like guardians expert is a +10 and there is a +12 but I haven’t found any class features or anything that seemed to support that like nothing written down that is in pathbuilder we’re in the stuff we have for our campaign. Am I missing something obvious somewhere

Why do puppets have a minus one to dex and not strength or even constitution I always thought it was a little strange the description for them describes them as having been built as helpers and companions which to me has always implied these sort of delicate work which either wouldn’t need them to be tough or wouldn’t need them to be strong. Something like writing down notes playing with kids or holding screws everything I’ve read throughout the flavor. Text makes it feel like they would either be weak or fragile. Instead they’re a little clumsy doesn’t make sense to me.
I’ve seen him a couple times over the years primarily as a background villain for some Spider-Man stuff he’s got this freaky metal claw glove and he grabbed peoples faces and they just aged to death from the looks of it and then he gets younger if there’s any other effects to the glove, I don’t know about them. Haven’t seen him get a chance to use it other than to kill like two guards, and then fly away on some kind of hovercraft I noticed he tends to pop up with the Hydra plot lines but I’m not sure if that’s intentional or not I feel like he’s gotta be one of those old villains getting a cameo, but I can’t figure out who he is
I’ve been trying to hunt some down cause a buddy of mine‘s doing a fear build but he seems to have the worst luck with his rolls every time he tries to actually scare something literally three months into this campaign, like 40 rolls and not a one has hit. I’ve got some daily slots that I really don’t mind filling with a couple of items he has that aura that makes fear stick around, so if I find something, I’m hoping this will actually let it work even a little bit
I’m planning on making a large casserole dish worth of it for some friends (it’s my turn for book club) the thing is I also want a decent amount of some kind of side so that you’re not just eating the one thing but I’ve been having some trouble coming up with a reasonable side that would be tasty
The only thing I could think of that actually made sense was miso soup but I’ve never made one of those and the only ingredients that seem to have for it is the tofu I would really appreciate some help. I have no idea what I’m doing
What it says on the tin what in your opinion is the weakest thing with a stat block(or equivalent, if somehow applicable) in all of Pathfinder 2e what is the absolute most fragile little greebel of a thing I just kinda curious
I’ve personally not gotten the chance to play a tham yet , but when going through the discussions, I see people talking bad about it and saying that it can’t trigger exploit vulnerability, which tells me I must’ve missed something extremely obvious because I don’t see where it says doesn’t trigger exploit vulnerability. Or Maybe I completely misunderstood how its triggered (I picked the discussion tag because I wasn’t sure what fit)
Edit: OHHHHH I completely missed that it isn’t technically considered a strike like everything else is I was aware that it only worked with the strikes, but I just assumed it counted as a weapon strike thank yall so much
