This guy is so SMART (Count of Monte Cristo)

I have just finished watching the entire 48-minute long Overly Sarcastic Productions summary of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas (I just watched it out of boredom). Damn this was peak. I am probably not going to be reading the 1100+ page book anytime soon (apparently thats how many pages it has jeez) cuz I dont have it and because its so damn long.

If you guys want to watch it heres the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idObk4I4bdg

I am specifically talking about the main character of the book Edmond Dantes. So in the simplest of this terms: This guy basically gets framed as part of a conspiracy by three guys who all have different interests (one wanted to get him away from the girl he wanted to date which was his cousin, the other wanted to get rid of him since he disliked him and wanted to frame him as a Bonapartist and the other was well the judge who did not want the secret that his father was pro-Napoleon so to save his career he burned the evidence and just put Edmond in life behind jail) and soon he escapes with the knowledge handed to him by an old wise guy and then to get his revenge he spends hundreds upon hundreds of pages doing many mind games, crafting many identities and slowly but surely takes down all pieces - over the decades. And of course by the end he manages to do that. Oh yea he also got filthy rich too and basically outplayed his conspirators on like a whole bunch of different levels and dug up stuff about them - basically finding their weakness.

I am really not doing justice for the character probably, I suggest you guys watch that video because it is very hard to explain all of this but even better I suggest you guys read the actual book by Dumas, the actual classic, which yea is a VERY LONG READ based on that page count and from what I saw happen in the video. I hope somebody far more dedicated than I am can actually unearth this guy and all of his schemes cuz he definitely seems like somebody who would rank very highly in SCD. Well... All I can do is admire his 4D chess multi-decade revenge scheme from the surface ig.

I will probably try to get my hands on that book but its not guaranteed and its even more not guaranteed that I would even finish reading it... As I said, there are definitely far more dedicated people than me out there, especially since as I said I stumbled upon this out of boredom and simply grew hooked.

First War of the Worlds (1898-1906) - A Martian Invasion Scenario

https://althistory.fandom.com/wiki/First_War_of_the_Worlds

This page basically goes over the entire alternate history scenario of this whole First War of the Worlds, everything that happens throughout the entire war essentially and what happens before it as well. (This was written purely by myself)

Basically, to quickly explain this scenario: The Martians receive news that they have a limited time left on their planet before it becomes too uninhabitable for them to even live on it at all, so the Emperor proposes a solution and that is to invade the planet Earth, which they deem primitive and thus easy enough for them to defeat, but they soon realize that humanity is much more adaptive and much more perseverant than they could have ever imagined...

To warn you all, it is going to be a very long read and I definitely have the rest of the scenario planned, but it will come out the two next Sundays, because well I can only post alien space bats scenario like this one on Sundays according to the subreddit rules (if I understood correctly). But I hope you guys enjoy this timeline!

I obviously cannot post all of that here, in this body text or heck even in the comments cuz it would be more tedious than it already is, but there is the linked article for you guys to see and read about this whole scenario. I will try answering questions in the comments, if I can.

Really underestimated how much fight the Ottomans had left in them...

CONTEXT:

Dimitrie Cantemir, born in the year 1673, was a Moldavian intellectual, basically a polymath. This is evidenced by the fact that he could speak many languages (Latin, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, German, Italian, Russian, French all in addition to his native language of Romanian) and by the fact that he had many occupations being a linguist, an historian, a composer, writer, geographer, philosopher and well obviously a statesman (and probably other things that I didnt mention). He wrote many important works for the Romanians and just for the academic world in general like Descriptio Moldaviae, The Divan or the quarrel of the wise man with the world, Hieroglyphic History, The Chronicle of the Antiquity of the Roman-Moldo-Wallachians, the History of the Rise and Fall of the Ottoman Empire (this last one matters here) and many other important works. He was even the first Romanian to be a member of the Academy of Berlin, which was pretty prestigious at the time. Dimitrie Cantemir was a very erudite person, who knew lots of things, which was sort of a contrast to his father Antioh who was illiterate.

Fun fact: He even wrote Turkish songs which are basically a sort of precursor to the modern-day Manele (and imo are far better - you can search them up).

He grew up, as it was usual for the child of elites in both Wallachia and Moldavia in the Ottoman court since well these states were basically Ottoman vassals and well the rulers sort of had to be on good terms with them and as such they had to do stuff like this. Through this Ottoman childhood, he began to learn many languages, many subjects and is sort of how he became such an intellectual, since the Ottomans offered him the means to do it. But at the same time, since he was in the Ottoman court, he also learned of the corruption and also the sort of decline and failure the Ottomans were witnessing, their military losses and stuff like that, which led him to believe that their fall was certain (that is why his work is called that).

While he seems like the intellectual polymath type guy (and he was), he did actually have political ambitions. He became voivode of Moldavia in 1693 briefly, but he was quickly replaced, like in just a month. But that doesnt matter because with the help of the Ottomans he is appointed as voivode in 1710. Immediately though he tries to position himself on the side of Russia, which was growing significantly in power under Tsar Peter the Great, signing the Treaty of Lutsk in 1711, which made Moldavia firmly on the side of Russia. Obviously, he knew the Ottomans wouldnt like it, but that was the point. He knew that if the massive Russian forces of Peter the Great and his own forces joined together and fought the Ottomans then he could usher in their fall, like basically strike them while they were weak. It seemed flawless.

The Russo-Moldavian army would camp near the Prut River in a town called Stanilesti. However, the Ottomans are basically able to trap them, cutting off their supply lines but that shouldnt have been a problem as they should have had a sort of secret route. However the Moldavian boyars also failed to fulfil their side of the bargain as they basically did not provide anything, like they did not show up they were useless. So basically this massive army was now starving and surrounded on all sides.

The Ottomans would keep attacking the camp, until eventually the Russians would just be blocked as they formed a circle from which they couldnt escape and well the Ottomans made quick work of them. Of course, Peter and Cantemir escaped, but this battle was still disastrous and did have the consequence of removing Cantemir from the throne and ushering in the Phanariotic period in Moldavia, where the rulers were all Greek elites from Constantinople, who bought the throne from the Ottomans and were put in place by the Ottomans. Not only that, under this period, these states had to pay even more tribute and had to disband their armies, instead having Ottoman garrisons so yea. Not good.

What about Dimitrie Cantemir? Well, he just fled to Russia, where he would remain for the rest of his life as an advisor on Oriental affairs for Peter the Great and during this time of exile (until his death at the age of 50 in 1723) he would write some important works and continue to do his intellectual activity, but this time under Peter the Great. Yea... Quite the blunder this was (imo), but it was a very important moment in Romanian history and if Cantemir did win at Stanilesti (1711) the history of Romania might have changed like crazy, Romania most likely being even more firmly in the hands of Russia than in our own timeline, but thats just a take, it may not be true, cuz we cant know that.

My Cosmic Horror Take on AWTDE ARG (But This Time You Can Read It)

I have turned my sort of proposal, the very long essay thing that I wrote last time which mostly made part 2 more like a cosmic horror (imo) - so that this whole ARG is more like a cosmic horror - but this time its an actual story, so not as much explanation behind stuff, none of that. Its story-time, whatever details I said in my post can only be inferred/theorized from what is said in the story itself basically. The story has 2 parts and you can read it on Wattpad (part 1 is really similar to the original as I said in the post so yea, its only part 2 that differs):

If the World That Doesn't Exist was more like a Cosmic Horror - My Take

A huge criticism that people have about this whole saga, but especially the second part, was that it doesnt feel like a cosmic horror. Yea, I 100% get that sentiment, but this story was probably not meant as a cosmic horror, but more like a cosmic horror-lite, something youd see with Bill Cipher or the Lich. Which tbf in the eyes of fans of OG cosmic horror, it seems diluted, weak etc. but it can be good 100% and I think this entire saga was good, it just depends on who you are. But still, here is how it would have looked like as a true cosmic horror and not as this great kids show story but with KiY + Minecraft ARG connected with DMS and all (DISCLAIMER: Mine probably is not going to be a perfect version of this story as a cosmic horror, I am not an expert writer nor did I read the KiY - all I know about it is from the very long critiques of it as to why WATDE fails as a cosmic horror, so this is not going to be perfect):

Part 1 (SFAWTDE) -

To be fair, I honestly cannot think of much to change in this part in terms of cosmic horror. It definitely feels like a cosmic horror. The King intentionally making itself known through creepy stuff like turning off the torches, making foot step sounds etc. and stoking the curiosity of the protagonist through puzzles (like that cipher) - which makes them more addicted to this world, while also getting his hopes up by quote unquote trapping it and even the warnings only increase d3rlord3s curiosity that eventually lead to him going through the yellow gate, seeing this censored bar (in our POV), but to d3rlord3 his mind was flooded with forbidden knowledge. No, not infinite. I am changing that, because that is just not what it does, so that reveal that it was infinite knowledge that we see in DAWTDE does not happen. It doesnt fill your mind with infinite knowledge. And no, he doesnt tank it, well as himself at least...

Part 2 (DAWTDE) -

This is where most of the changes will come. D3rlord3 after seeing what is behind the gates actually becomes a vessel for the King. Him going over the video to censor that eldritch horror or something and then leaving that warning for Avery was actually part of the plan in a way, to get people to be curious. Heck, SFAWTDE being posted leads a lot of people to be curious about the King as it also gains traction on social media and all. More and more become curious as yes even that ARG between SFAWTDE and DAWTDE with the codes and all is just part of it, to get people curious about it, more and more people. Wifies himself basically becomes a sort of propagator as well, its a chain reaction as the Kings cosmic plan is put into fruition. What about Avery? Well, Avery is just one of those many souls that fall victim to it, as the warning basically stoked his curiosity and he is only special cuz he just so happened to find the King in his Minecraft world. His curiosity takes over as it does for everyone.

The King chose d3rlord3 as a vessel because well a smarter mind would be more curious and thus lead itself to oblivion essentially, but most people arent smart. They arent curious enough. This is where this whole saga comes in with SFAWTDE technically being hazardous in its own way as it makes even the least curious of people curious about it, not just people who are smart but also people who arent that smart become curious, because curiosity is part of human nature, this is why the King needed a vessel, so that everyone could you know be flooded with forbidden knowledge as we see with the censor bar and with the whole edited video and all of SFAWTDE that got everyone hyped. It was all part of this cosmic horrors plan and no wonder humanity has a clue, its just on a different realm of thinking.

But what about d3rlord3 and Avery somehow being on the same server or other plot holes, or heck the story of DAWTDE? Well, while d3rlord3 is being a vessel, spreading the KiY, he is not actually doing this consciously. The King is basically operating him and to prevent him from potentially resisting or just simply passing out from all of that knowledge before he can carry out his duty. D3rlord3 "wakes up" and he decides to go through the gates again. The fact that he does so again and instead of being greeted by well the King he is instead greeted by a gold block which upon seeing it he wakes up again into a whole hallway with many gates, as we see in DAWTDE.

But d3rlord3 is thinking this is just part of his heros journey or whatever, him unravelling the truth of this world and saving the universe from the King, he doesnt know this is just a sort of hyper-realistic dreamscape, all of this is happening in his mind, he doesnt believe that. Whatever humanity remains in d3rlord3 does not know that he is a sort of automaton for the King, who appears to be a human with free will doing conscious decisions and all as this is a sort of illusion all of this. Heck this illusion is reinforced by the sort of causality of events. He does remember being flooded, but he thinks this is like a truck hitting him but with knowledge. Thats where the whole he cant look away from the computer comes from here, as we will see later.

Speaking of Avery, that whole rescue thing that Avery does just does not exist here. Sorry yaoi fans, the d3rlord3-Avery yaoi just isnt happening, sad I know. But still, he explores the mountain realm and comes across that fake Avery and manages to outwit it, but just like how he "tricked" the King in part 1, this is also fruitless, but unlike in part 1 this sort of keeps him from realizing what he is doing, while in his mind he thinks that he is doing all of this, in reality he is just mindlessly fulfilling his role as a vessel. Basically, he thinks he is winning but he does not even know he already lost, due to how realistic this all seems.

He keeps exploring the map and all and he is immersed in it not just due to the stunning beauty, but also due to the fact that he has to solve things, to get from A to B and all, all of this keeps d3rlord distracted so that he doesnt die. However, once he reaches the library, he just is curious and looks at a few books until:

He blacks out and wakes up in a fully black room as two bright yellow dot-like eyes appear over it and it speaks in a completely cosmic language, a language he cannot even understand and before he knows it he blacks out again and wakes up in the purgatory, that red field and all. Since here the church scene with the trance doesnt happen what instead happens is that d3rlord3 seeing no solution in sight (there is no gate here and also he cant break blocks, he has no items - all he can do is walk) and he keeps walking for hours upon hours until he reaches an ocean and then he keeps swimming hours upon hours until he blacks out again and finds himself in the hands of the Cthulhu (that Wifies mentioned in the iceberg video on Twifies) who speaks to him in that cosmic language and releases him. He has no clue what he has to do, he doesnt even know its a spell and he doesnt even know that he has to find its meaning and say it to the Cthulhu to get out. But after many hours, he somehow finds out what it is about, by deducing what it could be and trying out combinations. Obviously, this would be cut significantly and well he says the meaning to the Cthulhu and gets out of Purgatory with the knowledge of the cosmic horror language and with memory of that spell.

He then keeps exploring through the rest of the rooms (except for that room with the abandoned village) until he reaches the final gate and goes through it. After some walking, he reaches that Cologne Cathedral-like church and reaches the center, but eventually all but the floor black out as once again those eyes appear, but this time it is not talking about a vessel. Now d3rlord3 can understand it and so can we since d3rlord3 gained the knowledge of the Cthulhu and all and he recites the spell. This fixes the issue of d3rlord3 somehow knowing within the Kings domain that the King itself does not know, like why the hell would he not know that his own defeat was hidden, aka that spell? Thats also a gripe. But if the spell was something known by another cosmic horror, ofc it would make sense. Obviously that doesnt apply here, since this is all an elaborate illusion, but this represents the sort of reward, the reward that keeps him trapped.

He recites the spell and the King begins "disintegrating" and so is D3rlord3s mind. But wait previously the spell just got him out of a place, now here it is destroying his mind? Why? Well, you will see. Once the King is fully defeated, he is apparently "gone, reduced to atoms" and D3rlord3 is also soon "killed" as well as his mind is destroyed, the real D3rlord3 is now officially dead. His coma is now just a complete shut down of the body and then we see the cold hard truth. The entire reality had their curiosity stoked by this whole King in Yellow saga as we see that the KiY D3rlord3, the vessel, was doing all of this to get people curious and to fall to the King. Everyone from all around the world is basically dead, all comatose, sitting there, having been driven mad by that forbidden knowledge as they couldnt handle it.

So thats why the King wasnt censored despite what it can do. Thats why D3rlord3 could still play. Thats why D3rlord3 looked at his computer all the time. Thats why he "won". All of this? Was a way for the King to keep the Vessel going while the Vessel unknowingly did all that the KiY wanted all along. The Vessel could have died, but he kept it going just for this, just for it to fulfill its purpose and it would have no idea. The Vessel (Derek) would think it survived, but that it felt a huge amount of pain and couldnt look away from the screen and would go through everything in DAWTDE (well mostly, there are quite a few changes) as a fake journey, to keep it distracted from what he was actually doing, from the fact he actually lost from the get go.

When his mind began to be destroyed from reciting the spell in front of the "King", it was cuz he had basically done everything. All those hours, possibly going into more than a day tbh, were just d3rlord3 mindlessly exposing everyone to the KiY, slowly and surely, not directly, cuz he is a vessel, but he led them to the King and his mind being destroyed was d3rlord3 now rotting as the King chose not to sustain him anymore since he had fulfilled his purpose, all of this began to be destroyed because well it was only in the mind and now the King destroyed his mind for good, so of course it could not go on.

Obviously, if this was a video, the ending would not appear as obvious. It would just be the DAWTDE video, but obviously with the changes mentioned (like the Cthulhu). Speaking of the Cthulhu, he did the Cthulhu plus the fake Avery thing as a sort of reward factor, to reward him to prevent his mind from slipping into death, complete unconsciousness. This is what the King was doing to keep him afloat so that he wouldnt just leave his work unfinished. Thats what the point of all of this story would be, him "exploring", him "figuring things out", the King sometimes "appearing", it was all to keep him immersed in it so that the vessel could easily do its job without passing out.

Basically, the ending would be a sort of plot twist, but it would not be just a that came out of nowhere twist. It would technically make sense as that is why the King is uncensored, that is why the Cthulhu appears, the fake Avery, d3rlord3 somehow winning against a god, all of these would sort of be hints to the actual reality if you understand that a human cannot stand a chance against a cosmic god.

I probably did not explain this story in the best way possible and how I intended to, plus I probably missed some stuff, but this is roughly how it would look like.

Vladimir (Curados de Espantos) vs Zohan Dvir (You Dont Mess with the Zohan)

Both of them are Jews. One is a Vampire the other is a Commando.

We are going to assume this fight takes place at night, since we dont want the first guy to burn in the Sun immediately as the fight begins.

(Sorry for the low quality footage for Vladimir, I literally cant find any better ones online)

Basically, they fight at night in like a city or whatever, round 1 New York City round 2 Mexico City.

You probably know what the Zohan can do but if you dont I will say it anyway: He is very good at parkour, he can do all sorts of kicks/punches, he can casually turn around and disassemble a gun, he had his hand move while it was ripped off his body and used it to stab the guy who stabbed him in the hand, he can out-swim jet skis, he does impossible combat moves (like the double foot uppercut), cannot feel pain, turns rocks into toys, can seduce women easily, he creates afterimages with his speed. And I can say more (I dont mention that super-scream cuz he can only do it together with the Phantom from what weve seen)

I dont think most of you know Vladimir from Curados de Espantos (a Mexican movie made in like 1991 or 1992 I am not sure - you can find the movie with English subtitles online) but at night the dude can fly, he is bulletproof (from what we see), he can casually beat up men and they cant even do anything about it and its clear those hits do stun them a bit. Even while he just came back from the grave, like he had been dormant for centuries, he is still able to choke out a miner in like a few seconds tops. Not even a swastika can hurt him, but it does make him scream a bit in pain or something, but he comes back even angrier. He can throw men out of windows too and is legit able to kill a man just by stepping his foot on his neck. Yea, this dude chooses to beat the shit out of men every time. Its only with women when he actually goes to bite them like a normal vampire. Also yea he is also a very good seducer, he can completely possess a women in 3 bites and is shown to have some sort of hypnotic powers (but only with women, with men he resorts to beating the shit out of them)

So yea, who do you guys have winning?

This is from The Boys finale alternate ending, its fan-made, so this doesnt actually scale to Homelander. Its just something a fan account made. So how powerful would this be?
